There appears to be a bar in Pylon Ground, in the corner between the fence and the border of Rivermead.

That's odd, never been a bar there before. Is that the only bar which is actually inside a camping field? I can't think of any others

That means my previously 'secret' and quiet camping field will no longer be secret and quiet. It is going to get rammed pretty quickly now I fear!

Quite fancy camping there just so I can say I'm camped in Mrs Wills, much to the hilarity of all in earshot.

Good spot, I'm sure it's just a mistake now. Makes no sense to have a bar right out there when not even near a trackway.

there is many bars missing from that map and what they now call Pylon Ground looks well out due to where is is - look at all the main bars - they all have a good supply track and there is all sorts of restrictions due to water and power supply - bars are placed for very specific reasons and no one would place one there.The Avalon bar map should be out soon and as far as I know they would not place one there.

I'd love it to get another year, looks like the tent is there on the map but I suppose it could easily be changed to something else

That is high on my list of Priorities. If it is there, my saturday night will be spent in there I'd imagine.

Haven't they just moved them rather than added more? Camped in Bushy in 2013 and there were portaloo's at the top of Bushy by Gate D and then compost ones where you cross into Rivermead. Looks like they've just moved the ones from Gate D down?

I've supplied him some equipment through my work.

yeah agreed, we camped in bushy too and the toilets were horrendous. nowhere near enough, barely cleaned, no urinals for men, the rubbish never got emptied once so the bins were just overflowing....

i will go back in the hope its been improved this time though. especially with a 2nd set of toilets.

I didn't go in 2013... but in 2011 and 2014 the only toilets I saw/used were the ones on the main path (southern most ones on the map). The new toilets nearest to Rivermead weren't there, as that's where we camped both times. I never venture towards gate D so not sure if there were any others up there

You're right they were the only ones. There was a tap at the top of Bushey but no loos. Don't recall seeing any on route from Gate D either

Is it the same folk would run the posh camping thats usually beside E22 & E24? (White out section on the map)

Has the E22 section now basically become part of that white out area to make it bigger?

What "cool things" BTW will Festibell be doing here and who will these cool things be open to do you know? I assume only the folk who pay thousands to stay in their tents?

best just to wait as there is all sorts of changes still to be made.

I find the map that information and campsite assistants hand out even better than the fine guide and they are always willing to hand out a few copies.

If you save the PNG file to your desk top and open the file select print and it should give you options. Select your printer; Choose A4; Quality 600X600 and ensure you select "Fit Picture to Frame"
