I saw their last song (plus a massive cringey speech thanking the "believers" or something) when I turned up to see Depeche Mode after them. Awful moment.

I dont even like them, just disappointed for their fans. Do the stupid circus breaks during your own concert where you can have as much time as you want, but not at a festival

I saw someone in tracksuit bottoms and leather jacket combo at a gig tonight. It made me fear the outfits I'd see at Glastonbury.

My god

And I thought octodenim ( a man with 8 different types of denim on ) was bad in 2013......

I'd still take that over the arse hanging out short shorts with wellies and garlands.

So we're saying the people we want now? Ok.

pls give me UMO

Looks quite possible from their tour dates, they finish their US stint right before Glasto.

I saw them do a late night after party show at Birthdays in Dalston last week, it was incredible.

Yeah, tour dates allow it and it definitely does make sense for them to do it this year. Considering how fantastic the new album is I'd really love to see them, can't make any of their tour dates if they don't play so I'm praying for it,

Liam Fray from The Courteeners has tweeted 'See you at 8:30am x' Surely gotta be Glastonbury right? Looks like we have a time

He's on BBC Breakfast tomorrow morning so I just assumed it was that. He may as well talk about Glastonbury while he's one though...

BBC Breakfast is Friday not this morning. I suspect we may have our time. 8.30 people. Staking my name like Matt42 may be a big mistake.

    • Primavera refunding day tickets which are probably a negligible percentage of attendees yesterday.
    • Thursday day tickets being refunded. Fair play.
    • I’ve had a good sleep and I feel weirdly zen about the whole thing.   My first Primavera, so not the greatest first impression. I guess today couldn’t be any worse, right?   Thoroughly enjoyed Men I Trust and Geese. Cupra is a beautiful stage and the crowd seemed fun, friendly and engaged.   I think it probably could have gone even worse, considering how dangerous the crowding felt at times.   Anyway, we go again.
    • Brighton centre is a weird old venue for the Mary Wallopers - a great band, a really good live spectacle, and its a saturday night as well which sets it all up - but its at the bloody Centre? a charmless nonsense of a conference centre? Brighton dome is a ten min walk away and is so much nicer a place to see bands its ridiculous!    ah well, i'll probably mosy along anyways . . .
    • So bad honestly. I get that bad weather happens but their communication was non existent. When you're managing crowds of tens of thousands of people, it's just not good enough. I left when Massive Attack was cancelled (the first time) and it genuinely did feel unsafe trying to get out. No one knew what was going on, people still sitting in the ground when there were hoards of people trying to leave, no crowd management at all...   I've been to PS enough times to know sometimes you need to just roll with it but this was way worse than "the bar queue was 30 minutes long".    Today will be better but still feel super disappointed.
