I didn't think it was out/leaked yet. Press copy?

I think around half of it's good and half of it's crap. Though looking at the R1BW setlist, the new ones they played are some of the ones I didn't really like.

Reviewing for a music website. Some surprises on here, very enjoyable though

Yeah I agree with that. The album's ok and there is some good stuff on it (Want You So Bad, Give Me A Sign, Maybe I Could Hold You and All Afternoon In Love) but the singles and ones they've been playing live are quite poor.

Random one but did anyone check out Kagoule on introducing last year?

I missed them, but I seriously cannot wait for their debut in August.

For fans of Wolf Alice/Smashing Pumpkins/Pixies

I saw 10/15 minutes but that was it. They were pretty good though.

Charli XCX at Big weekend is making me think she might suit a pyramid/other slot moreso than JP tent

& The Vaccines are making me think they could have a lower slot than we think this year... maybe 4th or 5th down Other

Charli xcx will probably be on the other stage, don't think there's room for her on the pyramid unless she's playing much lower than I'd anticipate

She will most likely be broadcast on TV so I can't see her on pyramid

Glad i'm not the only one. To me he's just another Damian Rice or David Gray, hopefully he'll disappear like those did too.

He seems to have sucked the life out of that crowd

Then the Voiceover guy goes "it takes a whole for the crowd to respond after each song as they are so mesmerised by him".....,,.,....fuck off !!!!

She's not even headlining the Dance Stage at R+L and has similarly low positions across the board, I don't even think opening the Pyramid would be too low.

Well if they are in those slots, it won't be because of a shoddy TV performance.

Only because they're on now, and nothing better to do. Have/Will Fall Out Boy ever been/be booked for the farm?

Not yet, hopefully soon. They're a fantastic band. This board would start breaking things if they were ever booked though. The R&L section got very cross when they were booked in 2013, then went on to put on the best set of the weekend and get the best reception. Even the IOW footage the other year, when they weren't playing to their typical audience, looked like they really smashed it. Only thing is that I hear the latest album is not all that impressive, I've yet to listen to it myself though, I'm going to see them play live again in October though.

Did it? I thought all the hate was reserved for The Lumineers getting higher billing that Editors that year tbh. Plus spunking over Nine Inch Nails and System Of A Down, obviously. I thought Fall Out Boy were great at Reading. Was a quality day all round - dat Biffy set :D
