I'm as guilty as any in proclaiming any good forecast as gospel, and bad ones as mumbo jumbo.

But, I really DO trust BBC Weather. Not infallible, of course, but pretty damn accurate. Only problem is it is updated so frequently that, like them all, it only counts a short time ahead...

BBC has taken a dramatic turn for the better .. Does this tend to be fairly accurate? I see some people have great faith in this source.

They forecast monsoon like conditions with thunder and lightning last Friday. All we got was a bit of drizzle.

With less than a week to go, forecasts are going to start getting more accurate. I'm nervous!!

Unfortunately I do get one bar of 4G so will be nervously checking here instead :)

I'm hopeful of being able to watch countryfile although at the mercy of getting home following a stag do in Brighton so not sure what time i'll be back :(

Hopeful the next set of charts will show some improvement...

I asked this question around this time last year, and got some good mixed responses:

Theoretically, how much would you pay for the guarantee of no rain over the full duration of the festival?

I think right now I'd stretch to £200.
