Nope. The Sun could be destroyed overnight and it wont rise as a consequence, so its not absolutely certain, but it is of course extremely likely

"Absolutely Certain"? Probably death is the only thing approaching absolute certainty we can be sure of universally..............but then thats up for debate too isnt it?

Maybe the only true certainty in the universe is that there is no absolute certainty? ;)

Death and taxes, Thom, death and taxes...

I asked this question around this time last year, and got some good mixed responses:

Theoretically, how much would you pay for the guarantee of no rain over the full duration of the festival?

I think right now I'd stretch to £200.

Can I pay with a credit card?

A classic attributed to your namesake

I personally like the 3 certainties of "the laws of physics, the laws of Murphy, and death"

But Garfield probably put it best when he said "Death, taxes, and teddy bears. Three things you can always count on"

Don't seem to be ale to post pictures so:

Rain overnight on Wednesday

Light showers Thursday

Very light showers Friday

Showers Saturday afternoon

Rain Saturday night

Most of the rain is falling while people aren't moving around much

Time to pack the dinghy.

Why ANYONE would stick on temps in the low teens can only be put down to madness. You don't stick on high teens, you stick on low 20s. DON'T GIVE IN.

High teens with no rain and the power of sticking worked? Im sticking every single time..................

As this ropey forecast emerges it makes it all the more bizarre that so many wouldn't be happy with another 2010. I'm no fan of being in the sun all day, and it was hard going at times, but its as close to perfect as I've had at Glastonbury.
