I just have no particular interest in Prince' music - Fair enough but you're the one missing out

or the way he needs to be so devious and offended by everything, - ?????

the fact people say that the more prince is rumoured the less likely he is to play is just ridiculous - yeah of course it is, but lighten up dude, us P***** lovers are just joshing in a friendly forum.

It's not going to Madge and it's certainly not going to be Katy Perry so who does that leave?

Purple man?

I was so wound up about seeing P@@@@@ at Glasto last year ( a long held ambition) that I bought a ticket to see him in Birmingham as a safety measure. He started off with godawful sound after an hour delay but went on to perform a stunning set. He would be perfect on the Pyramid.

Were you at the Monday or the Thursday? I was at the Thursday, easily one my best gigs ever, phenomenal.

Had a look at their website and they seem to be a press organised thing - could they have got something and broken an embargo?

There's a Glastonbury countdown on the website and there's a few tweets about Glastonbury. Not going to read too much into it though.

Have you looked at their tweets? One of their lovely new medium sized VW, one of their Harvester steak and chips Valentine's dinner. They retweet the Short List and some sort of shoe shop in Blackburn. They don't seem much like the BBC to me...

    • Thing is, I'd have said that as well.   But then she inexplicably ended up on the Wilderness lineup and that changes everything. I reckon if that goes well, which it will, then she's very much in the picture.
    • This has probably been discussed a hundred times already on efests but what constitutes a legend? I know some of it is my age but I don't see eurithmics or Duran Duran as legend status. Neil young or nils lofgren then yes and neither of them have overly troubled the charts. Duran Duran and indeed the eurithmics I would put in the 80s category and whilst it would be ok (human league at isle of wight we're fabulous) they just arent in my mind legend status.  Zombies played same festival- i would take that.
    • friendly tonight delayed , pitch draining pretty quick to be fair .... not sure it bodes well for other games with potential fixture backlog
    • Never happen, but an Annie Lennox solo or Eurythmics reunion would make me very happy.
    • Burnham going to go blue labour to ensure he wins makerfield and gets enough nominations from the PLP. How he’d govern is anyone’s guess. Odds on to win anyway so guess we’re not too far away from finding out.
