  1. Alice Cooper would be a laugh
  2. Amber Mark would be good, released her debut this year
  3. Thought this might be a good catch-all thread for people looking for iPlayer sets from previous years. Does anybody happen to have Toro Y Moi and Goat from 2013?
  4. Where's everyone getting these poster templates?
  5. Think the OTT reaction to an offhand comment about someone's relationship with alcohol actually says more about you than them tbh. Nothing embarrassing about it and if you're like me and prone to anxiety it actually really helps in gig situations.
  6. ^ get_iplayer --pid=[pid code here, remove square brackets also] --tv-quality="1080p" I know it's down to licensing but it sucks the majority of these are just going to vanish forever once the 30 days are up. This is my first year making sure I download all of the sets I'm interested in.
  7. Blabbermouth now suggesting Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante from Anthrax will be the other two guys.
  8. Not really a comparable situation to AC/DC at all. To most people the definitive line-up is Cliff, Phil, Angus, Malcom and either Bon or Brian and four of those are still in the band. They might have had a handful of bassists and drummers before this lineup was cemented but it's irrelevant really. Similar with Iron Maiden. They only have two original members but the 'classic' line-up is clearly the one we have now unless you're one of those oddballs who only likes the first two albums.
  9. I love Chic but it's essentially the exact same show each time give or take a couple of songs, feels a bit soon to bring them back.
  10. Rarely see Paramore mentioned as a headliner shout, surely they're overdue by now?
  11. He doesn't have the same cultural cache as a Diana Ross or a Dolly Parton but Michael McDonald would be good (edit: on second thought he might be better suited to the type of slot Burt Bacharach/Herbie Hancock had)
  12. I haven't been on here in years but it's sad to see Neil has become even worse in the interim. I remember thinking he was arrogant and rude back then but it seems to have reached a point where his temperament is actively damaging the forum. Could a group of users not club together to create an alternate space? Or maybe a Discord group? They're relatively easy to set up and it seems like a decent solution, especially if this place is as much of a burden to Neil as he claims.
