No worries, man.

I used to bite a bit at bollocks posted on forums, 'cause I never backed down from a good scrap! Got me nowhere but more cross!

There's been an unusual amount of niggle on here today, which I truly believe is in part due to everyone going thread crazy waiting for the damn line up! CAN YOU SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING TO THE FAITHFUL, EAVII?!

Ben

The faithful people have paid up and in doing so prove they couldn't care less who is playing.

I just don't think it's really pertinent to the headliner discussion to talk about someone's looks.

She got her boobs out in the last video, she opened herself to it, much the same if Mr West gets his nut sack out in his next video...

Tasty nips on her too.

I don't think that someone getting their tits out makes it okay for anyone to be judging them on their looks.

The important thing here is that her MUSIC is shite*, regardless of the "tastiness" of her nips.

Edit: *or not shite, depending on your taste. Either way it's about the music not looks.

From the Roses' FB website Rumour knocking around in Ireland the Roses will announce Electric Picnic headline when they announce Glastonbury Sunday headline slot. Its possible as two Electric Picnic headliners still not revealed and its hinted to be them and the Prodigy. Fingers crossed

Kanye West posing topless. Lucky you, free reign on judging the attractiveness of his face, go for it!

Anyone see Dogstar at Glasto '99? That was a bag of fun! Infact, thinking about that, Keanu Reeves was in Glastonbury with Nicholas Cage the other day. Maybe he was in final talks with Eavis to headline with Dogstar?!!

The One True God lives in Glastonbury doesn't he?

As I swept through the many posts made today while I was dragged away from the internet, the one that has troubled me most was the complaint that Mumfords had to pad out their set with covers due to only having 2 albums.

Fair enough. but where does this leave the Stone Roses?

I doubt they'd even be considered unless the rumours of an upcoming third record are true :)

Their album tracks were longer :)

    • I wonder if they had that vote again they'd vote differently, seeing how successful other mayors like Burnham have been?
    • Doesn't surprise me. West Yorkshire had a vote if they wanted a mayor in 2012 and voted no. The government then ignored the vote and announced the position anyway in 2016.

    • Also agree, it does feel that there isn’t much between the Mercury Prize and the Brit Awards these days.   This part sums it up for me “The complaint isn’t so much about the quality of the music, but more the disappearance of spaces for outsider voices in British music. With streaming algorithms feeling increasingly geared towards big names, and social media acting as a minefield, the Mercury’s pivot to the mainstream closes another door in the face of creative independence.”
