Everyone got an email, right? Another case of the supposed primacy of social media over the usual agreed channels. "Oh we didn't get a tweet!" So what.

I paid off 6 tickets. Only 2 of us got reminder emails about balance, and 4 got email to say balance was paid.

So unbelievably slack this year

I'm not needy enough to mind that contact from the festival has been limited this year.

Even without an email reminder I paid it off as soon as possible and spend every waking moment on this website reading about it.

If a few people have not paid their balance off for that reason it just means someone on this site who is desperate to go has more of a chance to get one which is fine by me!

The problem with releasing the lineup after the resale is that people still have time to return tickets if the lineup isnt to peoples fancy they will then have to do a whole new resale of the late returned tickets

Surely they want to know the figure of returned tickets and sell them all in resale?

this is a good point actually, and probably a good reason to think the lineup will come before the main resale. i'm sure they don't want a ridiculous amount of tickets being in the pot for the secret resales

the devastating florence and the machine announcement creeps ever closer.

Mike99 is truly the scum of the earth for getting my hopes up over stone roses. I will never ever forgive that low life.

It's not the despair, I can take the despair. It's the hope that destroys you.

edit gah got mike and matt mixed up!

I think people have been extremely patient and that deserves some kind of reward....

bizarre, cringey comment -- perhaps you could try picketing the festival office?
they could release the line-up on friday 26 june and it would still be a sell-out. i think that'd actually be hilarious if they did that.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
