True. A tweet to confirm some sort of news really is the elephant in the room!

That tweet was only 45 minutes beforehand!

I see! So yeah... the lineup literally could drop whenever

it's pointless looking for clues... any real clues come literally last minute.

I'm not a morning person, how beautiful would it be for me to have a lie in tomorrow morning. Wake up at 10am, get some breakfast, check my phone and there's a glasto lineup waiting for me

Is everybody that thinks it's prince just discounting the fact that he got annoyed at them last time?

I think it's the opposite of this - he got annoyed when the rumours were flying around in the press in Nov/Dec that he'd agreed, thinking it was to sell tickets. The fact that it is so secretive this year is what is leading people to believe/hope it could be him?! More a case of lesson learnt from last year!

You know what? I'd go see Dire Straits if they were playing. Is that bad?

not at all!

I seen them when i was 15 (25 years ago), but was too young to appreciate it, id love to see them again! D

and i have no shame in saying my hope for the legends slot for years has been billy joel.. a guilty pleasure that i wouldnt spend the ticket price on a stadium tour but would love to see live.

has billy joel been mentioned? ha.. now i for one would be over the moon with that!!

There's no way Green Day would the other stage ^^ they'd only headline a festival and they won't be headlining glastonbury this year

Also Matt, 10/10 for optimism as per usual, but id say Mark Knopfler is far from nailed on, hopefully he's there's though

If Knopfler played he'd be in a slot similar to the ones that folk like Elvis Costella and Robert Plant have done recently.

we are struggling think of acts that could fill those slots... so maybe it's a given.

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
