He ran a story which casually mentioned the full line up would be released in May.

That's always been the case. Over the past few years at least, we've had the "initial" announcement (or whatever you want to call it) around the balance payment window week, and then a "fuller" announcement in may with stage/day break downs and additional acts.

Not that it means it's any more likely to come today but if you type 'Glastonbury today' or something along those lines into Twitter a lot of people - at least some of whom I assume are not members on here - seem to be expecting a line-up or headliner announcement today. Usually here seems to be the only place reporting it (2013 and 2014 for example, it seemed to be the quiet before the storm as far as Twitter was concerned). Wonder if the speculation has come from *that* Facebook update, or elsewhere.

Thanks for your kind words people. It means a lot. A family member sorted my camper ticket (East) and balance this morning so cheered me up. Like I said before, if Taylor plays I'm gonna try and host a party for all you guys. Let's have that line up and let's see Motorhead, Prodigy, Steely Dan and all the GOOD stuff on there

I'd say so and if it doesn't come tomorrow morning I don't think it's coming until 8th April at least. They left 4 days including the announcement day last year between the announcement and end of balance pay period. Given the bank holiday, they'd only leave that actual day if they did it on Tuesday, it's more likely to send out that they haven't had the amount of balances paid off that they expected.

Didn't the purple one say he didnt want glasto to announce him a couple of years to sell their tickets because he was playing?

So in that sense we could be waiting till all the deposits are paid if its him?

Sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my dad a month before Glastonbury 2013, we had a toast to him overlooking the Park Stage. I like the sound of your lineup, I'm sure there'll be some cracking acts on again, I'm hoping for Mark Knopfler headlining the Acoustic, one of my favourite stages and a great selection of beers.

RIP. Read her last book relatively recently. Not massively revelatory or anything and she was always too classy to really dish serious dirt but its an interesting insight into Lennon. Particularly around the mid 60s. Just pre Yoko. A lazy amoral fucker.
