Would he be willing to break that rule considering it might be their only chance to play Glastonbury? All comes down to if they WANT to play it. You would think if they were eager though that they'd have had their Glasgow gig on the Monday or something.

i think after 40 years if they were desperate to do Glasto they would have done it by now tbh, i know the Stones were late to the party but Britishness was in their blood whereas Angus has lived in Australia for 50 years and Brian in Sarasota for 30 so i dont think they are desperate to do it

It is also the last tour more than likely and i just dont see a situation where Brian would be prepared to go on stage on the Sunday with his voice shot to pieces from the previous night, he always talks about how important the hardcore fans are

What if Glastonbury hasn't wanted them before because they're abysmal?

Are you paying your balance BS or knocking it on the head due to the lacker of the dacker?

I'm really struggling this year if it's going to be Foos/Florence/Coldplay. With talk of Alt-J (shite) and Chemical Brothers (seen them loads) on the Other, I'll be banking on West Holts coming up with the goods.

I think Mick Jaggers kids and grand kids had a lot to do with The Stones playing Glastonbury.

Without them I do not think Mick would have been all that bothered had they never played.

I'm with you, could be a year of no headliners. Hard to imagine but more than acceptable.

Although i'd like to see a bit of FF.

Will see what the line up is on payment deadline day and decide, but the things i have seen so far dont fill me with enthusiasm

It will take a Prince/Bowie/ACDC performer to convince me right now

I can't see AC/DC Working at glastonbury if I'm honest...

People say these kind of quotes when it's an act they personally don't like. Preference over rules objectivity.

I can't see a Taylor Swift headline set doing well, but I admit that is probably because I don't know anyone who would watch it... this forum proves some would though, so maybe I'm wrong?

ACDC would get all of my mates to the Pyramid and we would love it.

I think you're right, Fuzzy. It's very difficult to remove even subconscious preference/prejudice from opinion, especially in quick-fire online responses. I don't know Taylor Swift and would never think to go see her, but I know enough about her to feel confident that she would pull a HUGE crowd, were she to headline Glastonbury.
