Black Ice tour, globally there was only one occasion where they played on consecutive nights, this tour no consecutive nights so far, even at stadiums they are playing at twice

Your money and many others Ivan, I would take this right now, it could be worse, also gives a chance to head to different stages to see a headliner or two (personally)

Foos seem nailed on, Coldplay are a TBC on here, and the third headliner is likely to be Florence and the Machine (or possibly Taylor Swift). AC/DC don't do two nights on the run so their tour dates pretty much rule them out

If the likely outcome (Foos, Coldplay, Florence) panned out, I'd probably end up at other stages every night. The only one I might see is Foos, but I've already seen them plenty of times

If that is the trio I'm happy to do the right thing by Gazza and draw attention to the fact I was the first to call it after the Coldplay info was revealed.

Of course, loads of people were probably thinking it and just didn't post it before me, but I don't care. That's not playing in the true spirit of the game.

I know what ME says isn't always gospel but I remember a story that the 3 headliners were booked last year and one of them done during Metallica's set at GF. ME also went on to say one of the headliners was British but the band isn't British anymore. Coldplay, Florence and definitely Foo's surely don't fit that description do they?

There's every likelihood that AC/DC's manager mentioned to Michael that they might be available and he'd try to get them on board, but that later fell through. Generally speaking, don't ever listen to anything Michael Eavis says about the headliners.

he did also say at the end of October that the 3 headliners were booked and 1 had “been around for a long time” , which barely fits Foo Fighters....

he also said that 2014's headliners had never played the festival before, so.....

Now if you'd said that for The Libs, you might have had me saying that I suspect you might be right.

Having said that tho, I'm having trouble seeing Melvin letting The Libs do Glastonbury at all (even as a secret set), particularly as things more-suggest them not doing Glasto.

Would he be willing to break that rule considering it might be their only chance to play Glastonbury? All comes down to if they WANT to play it. You would think if they were eager though that they'd have had their Glasgow gig on the Monday or something.
