Sorry not self confirmed but quite likely fingers crossed. Roisin Murphy G has a hole in her new album tour. Was great 2008, some history of playing the festival solo and with Moloko, woul love to see her again. Somebody find out please :)

She's already been ruled out I'm afraid, already playing Belgium, Holland and Slovenia over Glastonbury.

Didn't see her on the poster. My mistake!

Edit: Ah, yes. Squeezed between Lianne La Havas and Death From Above 1979. The lineup that just keeps on giving, I guess?

Roni Size and Reprazent came through work last night. Claim to be playing but didn't know which stage or time as "we've got loads of gigs coming up". They think it's "one of the big stages".

Well, they're in Romania on the Friday, so, if true, I reckon the Sunday is most likely.

Caberet Twitter feed posted a good luck message for people trying in the resale and included a picture of John Cooper Clark.

Good luck to everyone applying for #glasto2015 tickets tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing you all at Cabaret. /QMwvu3JHUA

They've now confirmed he's performing along with The Lounge Kittens, Ben Bailey Smith and Shappi Khorsandi.

Looks like they are announcing an act every 20 minutes or so.

Happy about that. I'm going to miss loads this year I fear., but hell, it's better than moaning that the line-up is somehow shit*

(*which it never is)

I'd doubt that. Ready to be proved wrong, but are they really a draw in 2015?

He was one of the highlights for me last year in Williams Green tent :)

All the eqiupment packed in, he gave the sound guy the look of death, played caught by the fuzz at 7xspeed and threw his arms in the air and walked off after about 15 minutes........

Not his fault, hence the premium spot.

?? I'm sure I remember him playing far more songs than just 3 than the setlist website states. I swear we were there for 35 or 40 minutes but it was the set with the acoustic song due to sound problems! Odd.

update - A blog at the time suggests he did more too otherwise i'm guessing they would have mentioned it only being 3 songs. http://spectralnights.com/2014/06/30/glastonbury-festival-friday-27-june-2014/ so i'm not going mad after all!

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
