Ughhhhhh why are they all frauds then?

The XX are fine, just the whole "SPECIAL XX SET" then they played the first song and set "uh this is our last song" was pretty annoying.

And Ezra, there's nothing wrong with co-writers but I don't know, playing the Intro stage with songs you've written with a professional songwriter seems a bit douchey to me.

be very surprised if Ezra did Crows Nest, far too small for him nowadays.

That's why I like the Crow's Nest, though, they don't have their acts announced so people have to make a special effort to find out who's playing. Means they can get some acts you wouldn't expect to play such a small venue. Trying to remember some of the acts that played there last year. I know I saw Nick Mulvey there, and he played Pyramid and William's Green too.

I was there n all. Only did 2 songs didn't they? I was a little pissed off

Yeah, was a bit let down. I was hoping for more songs so I could see Phoenix later on, but with the xx only playing 2 tracks I felt like I had to see them later on.

Hence why I put a ? didn't make a statement of fact.....

The question mark was out of place. You should work on your punctuation

FYI, I said that in jest. Don't take it too seriously buddy.

I've been up the Crows Nest a couple of times, and while I love the place, I've never been able to spend more than an hour or so there due to the lack of toilets up there. Its a bit of a hike to get down to the Park and back just for a slash!!

Really regret missing Steve Mason play on the Sunday night in 13. That video of everyone singing Dry the Rain is ace.

You kidding me?

Gah!!

Haha yeah it's on the right hand said as you look down hidden the bushes.

I trekked up there to see who was playing that night just before Courtney Barnett on my own.

2 Bears were suppose to be playing but no one was in there. But some one was DJing, Alexis Taylor was setting up so I just sat down and chilled out looking over the site.

Then the rest of hot chip turned up.

Queue me sat there a bit baffled as to what was going on as Hot Chip danced about.

I think that's my single favourite Glastonbury moment, I had only accidentally stumbled upon him, amazing scenes.

I could have sort of believed it as his being doing "PA" type things at uni club nights recently. (According to my sister who went to one of these in Plymouth, they play his song, then he poses a bit creepily with all the girls.)

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
