I hope they will be expanding the amount of live in vehicle space in Wicket if we lose E21. I have pitched in there since 2011. I love being able to arrive on Tuesday to get set up at a leisurely pace and having a chilled evening before the gates open which won't be possible in Wicket. 😢

I think some of the car parking will be used for camper van, but I don't think all pitches will be replaced.

They'd have to remove a few blocks of toilets from the site to properly replicate the distance from bar to toilets!

So with the adjustments (whatever they may be) going ahead, are we going to lose our Tuesdays afternoon/evening on the hill looking down? It's one of the best things about a Tuesday with a first timer

The new stage won't be built for the 2027 festival according to Melvin Benn at the Parish meeting. The size increase was to allow for more space to store the gear for the day's line up, so more logistical than spectacle. 

 

The trees are being pruned rather than completely removed and are off site, near the Tythe barn/Church.

 

I believe most of the tree planting has taken place offsite on the land purchased a couple of years ago so I wouldn't expect additional shade in future. The bits I've seen are more hedgerow (bottom of Muddy Lane opposite Goose Hall for example).

Did you know that each Wetherspoon has it's own unique carpet design for that pub only?  We've got the country's largest Spoons and I remember them banging on about the carpet pattern when they restored the building.

I've seen a comment on FB that Holt Farm will not be returning in 2027. I'm aware there was an association with Yurtel that went bust, but does anyone else have any further info?
