Bob Vylan Chants

MEGATRONICMEATWAGON

Our posse went to see Bob Vylan followed by Kneecap. A friend had been giving out masses of Palestine flags. We put a teddy on top of each one to prevent anyone getting injured by the sharp bamboo. We were near the sound desk and I decided to get my flag in front of the camera there. In the two minutes it took to get there unbeknownst to me Bob had crowd surfed to the top of the barrier where he grabbed my flag. Couldn't believe it!

are people seriously upset about something that dickhead Liddle says?

I think that it’s more the faux piss boiling about BV’s comments when Liddle can print that with negligible adverse comments that people are pointing out.

Was always going to be the case.

We’re in a battle for our freedom and those that control the agenda currently have the upper hand. The brainwashed masses love the agenda, too scared, too stupid, too comfortable, distracted by brain rotting nonsense.

Never thought I would ever say anything not 100% anti-Liddle but I think it is fine for him to write Let’s Bomb Glastonbury. He also said the same about Brighton incidentally. Makes him a twat but not a criminal.

For the simple reason that no one is going to be fired up to attack either place by his words and he isnt singling out individuals. And similarly and even less plausible no one will attack an army in a foreign land based on a chant at a concert.

Way on the other side of that line however is threatening to set fire to a vulnerable group of asylum seekers’ accommodation in a time where many are exacting to do exactly that.

Connolly’s words were dangerous incitement, whereas Liddle, if you’re reading this, you’re just a poor man’s Katie Hopkins.

'For all I care' - not exactly the words of someone threatening to set fire to a hotel.

Is it outlandish to think a member of the IDF could be murdered on a UK street?

I guess you’re referring to the British nationals who travel to join the IDF so they can kill some Palestinian civilians?

Not specifically - any IDF member who happens to be in the UK for whatever reason.

You are quite right -  "set fire to all the f****** hotels full of the b******* for all I care" is in fact a noble statement of peace.

Don't know what I was thinking. This case needs to be re-examined immediately!

I mean, it's obviously a pretty scummy thing to say. It's not the same as what you said earlier though.

There's no threat in her statement at all. It was an angry statement, not a threat.

Or do we not care about facts anymore?

I bet she cares now 😬

As do lots of other people on all sides now. If a guilty plea for what she said gets her 31 months inside, what will Ricky Jones get if he's found guilty for saying "They are disgusting Nazi fascists and we need to cut all their throats and get rid of them all"?

The splittingest of splitting hairs to say

"set fire to all the f****** hotels full of the b******* for all I care"

is not a threat.

If the individual was attacking Palestinians in the UK, or attempting to  commit acts of Genocide against Palestinians here then I would absolutely call for the return of the death penalty.

Yeah, let's not concern ourselves with the actual innocent civilians that are being slaughtered, let's invest energy in imagining a hypothetical murder of a member of a genocidal foreign army that finds himself tens of thousands of miles from home, despite there being no precedent for this.

What on earth are you on about?

The death penalty should be reintroduced for the murder of specifically Palestinians?

Why that group specifically? Either the death penalty should be brought back or it shouldn’t.

I mean it definitely shouldn’t but you can’t just define one group and say it’s specifically worse to kill these people compared to everyone else

Here's the context of the question

Claim: BV chants = not consequential because IDF members won't be killed because of it

    • Had a lovely day in Prague now off to the festival. Very excited hope we all have fun regardless of weather!!
    • Iran are winning. If US aren't going to do the full invasion thing, then they may as well admit defeat and do what is needed to get the strait opened. Iran obviously have decided they can take any pain and stick it out as they have all the cards with this Hormuz thing. But obviously Trump can't admit defeat, and Israel just want this to keep going...and maybe it will carry on like this till after elections in both US and Israel towards the end of this year. God knows how the global economy will be by then.
