That was the most convoluted and shambolic ticket experience I have ever had! Pre-registration, multiple queues, having to enter an email to then get a code from the email, to then enter the prereg code. To then select tickets and each time it says they are taken. And at every stage the system thinks your a bot and kicks you out, even when you select different tickets. I would have though the preregistration would have given people a fairly decent chance of getting a ticket. Perhaps we were just unlucky, I was trying for my kids, but it was a very long and cumbersome process which seemed to continuously fail at every stage.

Really poor. Like many others, jumped through all the hoops, kept selecting any tickets that appeared only to be told they'd gone. Then eventually accused of being a bot and booted.

I'm all for measures to stop bots but it seems like they need to do a better job. I cant imagine a human being able to snap up those tickets, as they reappeared, as quickly as they disappeared. Makes me think bots were managing to suck up tickets anyway, while actual humans being punished. Crap.

Apologies if this is too late or already been said but I recently learned that if using AXS on an Apple product (iPhone and iPad at least, not sure about Mac) then you have to turn Private Relay off. If you don't then AXS think you're a bot trying to cover up your identity. Same with my work laptop (not Apple) - I can only get on AXS if connected to the company VPN.

I'm not in for tickets but just had a look at this thread out of interest and seeing its a problem for many.

No joy for London, was out of the game as soon as I got to the end of the queue first time and AXS computer said no.  Had a shot at some £324 tickets but just couldn’t justify breaking the bank for them.

Will keep an eye out for a spare but wasted a lot of time already trying.

Sorry to hear these tales of woe, I assumed (wrongly) that a la the additional Oasis gig ballots that getting a code basically = ticket but obviously not in this case.  Sounds a lots of tokenistic huff and puff for the same outcome as otherwise.

Stressful during a lesson this morning! Kept kicking me out for Saturday. When I finally got in, I was about to suck up the expensive seats when the page refreshed and standing was available again. That was around 10.30-10.35. As others have said, it was much more than advertised seats wise. Feeling very lucky to have been able to get tickets at all, let alone standing. If I had the choice, I’d never use AXS again.

Proper shambles that was - I was in the queue for 20+ minutes and was only interested in standing tickets so had already accepted that they'd all be gone or near to - which they were, I was able to select 2 standing tickets a couple of times as availability flashed back up but then when going to check out tickets not available, and then AXS determined I was a bot so I lost interest. Could've then tried to buy seats, was loads at all prices at that point, but I'm not interested in sitting in the nosebleeds at the bloody o2 to watch Radiohead. Standing or nothing!

Yeah, no luck here. I must have chosen seats about 50 times before inevitably, someone else had grabbed them first ... and then kicked out for being a bot.

I am not averse to the whole multi step process but I think it would have been better if, when on the page where you can choose seats, you were just able to buy X amount of 'cheapest available' or something. That way, you aren't having to race against people for specific seats, it doesn't register you as a bot just by trying to be quick, and it gets the whole selling out process out of the way much quicker.

I though the seat selection bit seemed a bit dodgy, I must have clicked so called available seats hundreds of times only to find out they had gone every time. So had to select other seats over and over again until it deemed me to be a bot and kicked me out! They mush have had a huge number of people who were 'successful' on Wednesday who didnt mange to get tickets, which I think is a bit sh%t, especially when the unlock emails said "Congratulations..." I thought we had a pretty good chance of getting them in the sale today

I am not sure why they couldnt have asked you for a date and seat cost when you initially registered and then put them all into a ballot first, it would have meant anyone who got the unlock code would be guaranteed a ticket if they wanted one, and there would still be some left over for another sale for those who didnt eventually buy them

I knew it would still be tricky today. I think what was reported is they gave unlock codes to 120% of the available capacity - so for argument's sake, if everyone trying was trying for 4 tickets, there'd be a ~20% chance of being successful.

But after so much filtering before the sale anyway, it just felt like such a flawed, strange process when trying to buy. I actually got through the queue pretty quick but kept getting the 'Your access has been restricted' page before the chaos trying to find a seat that hadn't been already knabbed.

I'll monitor the resale stuff nr the time but already resigned on these, and deffo not paying silly money which sounds likely if f.v. was £300+ for some seats. If I fail I'll claim I am consciously objecting and would never have gone to see them in the first place (while silently knowing they would have rounded off a spectacular gig list for this yr).

Any luck @clasher? I got down to about 7k in the queue before it all sold out.

Once I finally got in, Fri and Sat (the two dates our group was targeting) were completely sold out. There were various categories popping up for Mon and Tue, although it bounced me right back to the category selection page most times. In the end I managed to bag 1 seating ticket for Mon and my sister got 1 for Tue. I might just put it for resale tho.

    • I'd definitely consider a Blink/BMTH/FNM headline trio. If they can get Edguy over for one of their last shows, it'd probably seal the deal.
