do not doubt

Well it's been rumoured for several weeks. It was gonna be announced at some point.

Think a few months ago the Evening Standard in London was claiming a repeat of the last tour, so 5 shows at the Tottenham Stadium. Guess we'll see if that holds.

Big fan of her, super talented. It’s a shame that Other crowd wasn’t big enough, or invested enough. I’ve seen her in much much better environments like Primavera or her own shows.

Hope she’s around the farm this year and in a more appropriate slot / crowd.

It is what it is. Sometimes things work in the slots they're given and sometimes they don't. It's like why I'm not 100% convinced Depeche Mode would go down well at Glastonbury given they seemed to go over the heads of people at Isle of Wight, but put them in an arena full of people that know the material and they'd go f**king nuts for it.

Tbf she does have a GSH in her European tour at present, so it's not that much of a stretch to think she could be in the area. Although it wouldn't be a surprise to see her added to the bill for Olivia Rodrigo's BST Hyde Park date given she's supporting O-Rod in South America next month.

It's not impossible, but if I was booking I would be cautious given her showing last time. She's the opposite of a proven draw.

She's an odd one. Always listen and think "bloody hell, this is ace" but then don't tend to revisit for whatever reason...

Took me a while tbf. I heard Los Ageless on Bojack Horseman, thought it sounded awesome, yet it wasn't until rewatching clips during lockdown when I thought to try some more.

    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
    • No complaints about the sound. We were like 2nd set of steps facing stage right in like the middle row.
    • On the whole then, yay or nay...I've had a look on festivals united and there's people who seem converted by Rock Im Park, I can imagine it might be different if it was a washout as RaR is tarmac.   The hotel side would be more to convince the non campers if it's an option. On my first visit to rock am ring we were shuttled into the area where you could stick the car next to the tent which was fantastic as it meant zero lugging of camping gear.
    • An interesting thing this. Having seem them several times (some of their gigs veer into back catalogue niche territoty), I partly agree they arent Pyramid material (theough modern defeinition of 'bangers' although I could see them headlinging the Other stage) I can't think of another festival in the world that they couldn't headline - Reading, IoW, BST, Rock Wercheter, Roskilde, etc etc.
