Wouldn't it be nice if Glasto had clocked on to the leaks and were spreading fake rumours... and next month we are going to be completely surprised by actually good headliners...

she is doing festivals in March. Youll know what to expect by then. Whats the big f**king deal. She will have played a dozen fests before she even hit Glasto. Not good enough? Just watch something else.

What are you gassing about? Your getting in over angry mode for no reason gain and over exaggerating as per.

They also clearly think Rod is a better Legend booking than Cat Stevens or Shania.

That's because he is, Cat was very weak and Shania should have just been on the bill in a separate slot.

Yep. If O-Rod gets fumbled expect ye not Gaga, but brace ye instead for the The Tyneside Johnny Unitas Haircut Boss.

Says I

Yeah it's him over her 100%. She doesn't need to be taking a Glastonbury slot currently and the gap since she's done it suggests ££££

Olivia's tour dates has her locked-in. And she will absolutely smash it!

The third one is more of a question mark.

Nothings locked her in yet, if it had then Neil would have come with a day announcement as we know the free slot is going to be Friday.

The Neil Young "announcement" was clearly rushed out cos he announced it himself on his blog.  It was entirely quick and reactive and not by design.

Nevertheless it still made the news all over the shop.

BBC News - Neil Young reverses his Glastonbury 'boycott'

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cgrwvgj0149

https://news.sky.com/story/neil-young-confirmed-as-glastonbury-headliner-days-after-saying-he-was-pulling-out-13283164

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2025/jan/03/neil-young-confirms-he-will-play-glastonbury-after-error-in-information-prompted-him-to-pull-out?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other

etc etc

Yeah, absolutely. You'd have thought they might have tried to make something of it after what Neil did though. They could have at least posted an announcement on the festival's social media paged.

It did make the news, but headline announcements have been so much more significant in the media previously. This definitely seemed more like a "Can you believe this sh*t happened?" situation than "News you should hear!"

It all just feels a bit strange to me. It doesn't fill me with confidence that the lineup is going to be strong!

She's only doing BST on the 27th.

In fact, the fact that they didn't add another date at BST only locks her in more imho.

My fault for believing Google and not fact checking beyond that! Listed as 27 and 28 there, weirdly. But yes you’re right. Question mark over O-Rod removed!IMG_6968.thumb.png.378c6f0db958fa594126a5f8710b16c7.png

Wait, did Neil not get confirmed for the Saturday?

I thought it just said headlining the Pyramid, not a day.

For me he's the most unexciting Saturday headliner. So slow paced and not upbeat at all.

Horses for courses though!

He certainly won’t walk out there alone acoustic in hand and delivering an hour and a half of folk songs.

Difficult to judge what set he’ll put out with the Chrome Hearts, but assumptions can point to it being akin to his Promise of the Real shows.

A bit cleaner than Crazy Horse, but still with a kick. Check out the live album Noise & Flowers.

My missus has seen him a couple if times but he's just not my flavour so I'll see him for a bit but if there's anything else on I'll jump ship.

Cheers I'll whack it on later

It's just strong rumours based on people who have provided good info in previous years. Can't really call it evidence I guess.

To an average joe the 1975 seem unlikely cause they haven't got any tour dates yet.

There is solid information across multiple sources including mcfcok from here that they have replaced Fred Again for the Friday.

    • Don Broco secret set.
    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
