Obviously nothing is confirmed, but it does seem increasingly likely that it's an O-Rod Friday / Fred Saturday starting position

Best brace of headliners in living memory that, from my point of view.

Yeah I don't think it's doing anything wrong there, just because we don't know them...just like anyone eise solid on here when they first posted.

I'd challenge anyone on this forum to post something Glastonbury related that currently adds up with more sense than that post.

I have no issue with new posters providing info but theres so many issues with it that are hard to ignore

1. it literally reads like AI (I know its not)

2. talks about IDLES and Little Simz who are clearly not even close to headliner size, with both also playing this year

3. There's no way one person has so much info on so many different acts

4. jibberish numbers at the end which are imo bait

A roundup of current rumours would be a much better thing to pin rather than this random message that is from someone with 1 post and hasn't even returned after posting it

Just to point out, Little Simz is mentioned for the future. Just to also point out, she had done more than Stomzy did when he got it. He had a arena tour that didn't even fly out and dropped until his song with Chase recently.

Idles also it's been said future but not before proven. You could probably say their other stage slot did a bit more them.

There is a lot of you lot I wouldn't believe anyone more than this post because you don't know anything more.

I'd bet a large amount of money that post came from a regular under an alt account.

I re-read it and saw that r.e. simz but didn't bother changing it sorry. Clearly neither name is currently there yet - i disagree Little Simz has done more also - she's still never had a song properly break out / make charts. Stormzy had and at least had some name recognition with people who  don't go to gigs regularly etc. I really don't think Little Simz has much name recognition at all still - her Pyramid set was good though i'll give her that and the festival are clearly keen to push her, but for now she's capping out at the pyramid sub slot (which is already pretty big given her sales etc)

Its clearly from someone reading this forum a lot or the other place (edit: as stuie says above)

Ignore the moaners, it’s a useful reference that can be removed if it becomes apparent it’s inaccurate

Its better than any summary i've posted i'll give you that! ... or anyone else for that matter).

There are clear inaccuracies already in it though

Fred was pushed by one very emphatic poster at the same time Emily was on record saying no headliners were confirmed. That fact seems to have been lost to endless discussions about whether he’s big or musically appropriate enough to do it.

As far as I recall, nobody credible has offered any reliable information that he’s “locked in”.

I’ve thought this the whole time but I have to admit The Post got Orod Friday correct which no one had previously predicted the day, so so far The Post is correct.

I’m kinda rooting for The Post to be correct because it’s the funniest and strangest outcome, but I’m sad that means no Pulp.

Probably why the post you've quoted says "likely" rather than "locked in"

Hang on, think I'm missing something. Nothing's been announced, so how are we saying Rodrigo on the Friday is correct? As far as I can see it's the same as any speculation on this place but with fancier handwriting.

Someone with a good recent track record of solid scoops (most notably the Oasis tour) posted about it yesterday.

Not because of that load of waffle. But because @mufcok said it, and has a decent track record.

Ok ta. So we're still operating on info, but the info's getting more reliable.

Two of the biggest running options we have are Olivia and Rihanna....if both play it's not going to be on consecutive says. Even if Fred wasn't the Saturday which I think currently he will be and the youngsters will lap it up, I don't think it'll be 3 female. We've always also seen how the female would try to work two females headliners with a gap. All 3 headliners though for me don't appeal to a higher age bracket but that is no shock given recent years how it's going. I think we are likely to have a much older overall setting on the other stage.

I've not even seen where he said it but that's enough for me.

Can definitely see it being Olivia Rodrigo Friday, Fred Again Saturday and Rihanna Sunday with Stevie Wonder as back-up in case Rihanna falls through.

If Stevie is even remotely gettable then he’d surely be option A and not a back up.

Sack for Fred and have a trio of Stevie, Rihanna and O Rod.

Yes I can see it being the option of Rihanna and Stevie will depend on how his health is closer with Fred actually being the one to take the back seat. It's going to be out of those 4 though I'm sure.

Apart from ORod being corroborated ( but still not formally confirmed) what else is coming true?

There's less solid info on Fred, but there are also a couple of leads on it.  Plus he just makes so much logical sense as a move - he's next year's Dua Lipa.  By process of elimination he'll be on the Saturday as they won't want to risk another early exodus.

There’s been plenty of speculation that Fred is locked in, and any time it’s questioned the conversation resorts to whether or not he’s able to fill that position. The reliability of the initial info is forgotten. I still think it’s questionable.
