Headliners 2023

It seems odd Larry Mullen doesn't know what the band's plans for 2023 are, but seems possible they may do something without him:

''He explained that he has injured his ‘elbows, knees [and] neck,’ and requires surgery, and that if the band go on tour next year, it won’t be with him.

The 61-year-old explained: ‘I really miss the audiences. I miss that interaction even though I’m sitting behind a drum kit … My body is not what it used to be physically. Like next year, I won’t be performing live next year. I don’t know what the band’s plan is. There’s talk of all kinds of things.''

Not really if he has said he can't do it and the others have said well we might do something would you be ok if we did. I always get the impression he's the grumpiest, least experimental, most risk averse member of the group.

It's a strong list, would have liked to a squeezed in Bart After Dark purely for "Aah, this isn't going to be about Jesus is it?"

Do any of you Simpson fans still watch the show?

I probably stopped watching by season 14 or so

I've been waiting for season 34 to appear on disney, as the treehouse of horror episode looks mental.

    • Not sure what this means for 2027 but it looks like Holt Farm's website and email are both now inactive and unavailable.   It'll be a shame if they don't operate for 2027 as it was an excellent alternative to the other off-site offerings.   Fingers crossed they're just enjoying their downtime 🤞
    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)
