It wasn’t full but they had a decent amount in would say around 17000 ish

I'm staggered haim are popular enough to play any arena never mind pull 17,000! When did they get so popular. I only know "the wire" and "if I could change your mind". Am I missing out?

Blimey that sounds bad https://www.nme.com/news/music/fans-complain-as-black-star-met-with-boos-for-arriving-on-stage-late-and-playing-for-just-half-an-hour-at-brixton-academy-3907834

I wonder if there is a link between the length of the show and the tickets ending up on seat filler websites.

Stereophonics and Wolf Alice in Brum on TFG

Just grabbed some Wolf Alice tickets, and after seeing the seats on offer we're probably not even going to bother going. Went there for Scissor Sisters a few months ago and got some half decent seats, but after viewiing the "best" ones on View From My Seat, it's evident that you'll not see a thing

I presume there was no standing available then? just blocks at the back?

Yeah it was the blocks way round the side where you're in line with the stage (block 1 and 12 upper) but I see there are two pairs in block 9 upper at the moment

VERY cheap tickets going for The Hives at Ally Pally on Saturday on Viagogo, from £3!

It was on Blue Light and you could grab up to 6 a few weeks ago and then again last week - so people are just dumping their spare ones on viagogo it seems.

If anyone needs 4 Hives just PM me - free of charge, would rather they don't go to waste but i'm not sticking them on viagogo! 🙂

A rarity for something to be on Viagogo without such a whopping mark up. Crikey.

Promoters dump tickets on it sometimes - i got some for Pendulum a few weeks ago this way at brixton

Both Shack and Electric Six on SFF.

Shack is really interesting, from one of the great lost mythical bands to giving away tickets in less than six months.

I feel like the Shack dates maybe weren't advertised all that well? Well worth £6 of anyone's money for a night out.
December gigs are always tough though, people putting money aside for Xmas, work do's etc.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
