Cheap Tickets / Seatfiller links Thread

It's based around a 'bums on seats' philosophy really. The tickets they allocate to these websites are usually quite small in comparison to the overall capacity so they're banking on those people spending money on parking, food, drink, merch etc.

If you go to a gig with the feeling that you've already saved money then you're more likely to splash out on extras. What they lose on admission they can make up in other ways so it often works itself out.

Trying to sort an account on tfg now so I can see the pet shop boys in Sandringham. Anyone know how long they take to verify people? 🙂

I thought it was almost straight away when my missus did it last night, I think she had to enter her school email address then a personal email address to send the tickets/verification

All Points East dates (Cleo Sol, Barry Can’t Swim & The Maccabees) on TFG 2 tickets for £30 total

I have been checking twice a day for those Maccabees tickets to go up, and I must have been on there an hour before they went live and forgot to check in the evening. Daaaaaaaaaammit.

Any link for Smashing Pumpkins at all please?

There are occasionally some cheaper than face value ones on Ticketmaster resale. I got one last week for £49 including all fees.

Few on Twickets too that are accepting offers, might be able to get a deal lowballing them as we get closer to the day.

The same three APE shows are now on BlueLightTickets - works out even cheaper than TFG as they don't charge a booking fee so £20/pair.

OMG thank you so much for posting this, I didn't even know that I could get cheap gig/festival tickets with my Blue Light card!   Thank you!!

Does anyone know of any deals for South Facing festival (mogwai)...historically they've had cheaper tickets available in the days before

I was certain this would come up especially being a Thursday but I’ve seen nothing. South Facing dates are on CFC but not this one. It’s not sold out but perhaps it has sold quite well.

@foolee There's a cheaper Smashing Pumpkins resale ticket on Ticketmaster at the moment if you're still looking. Think it's about £40 with fees so almost half price

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
