  1. Joost announced for the missing Main Stage slot on Sunday. That just now leaves a possible Dance Hall opener and mid afternoon in the Castello on Friday and on Saturday one afternoon spot in the Club and someone to play the Dance Hall in the evening. Don't think we're going to get anyone on after Slipknot on Friday, although it's a 45 min changeover so a DJ is a possibility. Still can't work out why Soulwax weren't replaced with a 2manydjs set, so that would be very welcome (even though I've already got Camelphat, Pendulum, Charlotte Adigery and Bolis Pupul and HAAI on my list at that time!). Weather reports are still looking good. Probably some light showers on Weds and Thurs but should be dry all weekend and temperatures still in the low to mid 20's. Should hopefully be on the meadow enjoying a cold beer this time next week!
  2. Looks like they've made a number of nice new additions to the site and I love the fact you can now cut through from the Marquee and Castello to the dance area, will save a good bit of time!
  3. HEAR HEAR map is up. Looks like they've moved the entrance so it is now in line with the Marquee (WAH WAH). GIMME GIMME is the Castello and YEAH YEAH is the Club, so all in roughly the same place as 2019.
  4. I know we're still a week and a half away but the provisional weather forecasts are looking promising. Some are suggesting there will be light rain on Thursday but all are currently predicting it to be dry for the rest of the weekend. Temperatures are between 22-25C which would be ideal, unlike this weekend when it's going to be 33/34! My niece and her boyfriend are coming for the first time and staying in the campsite across the road from the arena. I've never camped there but heard about this thing they do with a rope to stagger how people pitch their tent. Does anyone know if they did this in 2019?
  5. I have got information on the size of each one but it's now about 6 years old and the tents are different (and new in the case of the Backyard). Marquee is the biggest and, funnily enough, they get smaller in the order you've listed them! One of the (many) things I love about PKP is that the crowd is constantly on the move and no one really camps out at any stage, aside from the Main but that's only really once the subs and headliners come along. You should be able to walk up to pretty much the front of every stage (apart from the Main for large acts) a few minutes before a band walks on. You can often even do this as they start so no need to get there early. The only one I would be weary of from your list is Wet Leg. They are playing one of the smallest stages and are massively popular now so I think that one will be rammed. Should have been put on the Main or Marquee but there's quite a lot at the time they're playing so hopefully the crowd will be spread out.
  6. There's always plenty of lockers available so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I usually get one on Friday when I go into the arena at around lunchtime and it's never been an issue.
  7. Not doubting your info but I hope that's not the case as Jungle will then be clashing with part of Underworld's set (provided they close the Dance Hall as expected). Saturday is stacked though so that will probably just be the first of many.
  8. No big surprise really but the Castello is confirmed as back. It's directly behind the Marquee, so in a slightly different position to last time, and open along the sides (which I think will be better). Hopefully some news tomorrow or Weds on the final names and timetable now Dour and the first weekend of Tomorrowland are out of the way.
  9. I know the guy from PKP (Patrick) who's interviewed in the video and he posted on FB this morning that there's 9 stages. Could be a typo but that's what he wrote anyway.
  10. So there's going to be 9 stages this year and a number of secret rooms. Don't know anymore than that but there's a short video clip on TVL.BE which shows some of the build. Maybe some of our Dutch or Belgian members can translate the headlines?
  11. Thanks for that. Been looking at the Disclosure day but might hold out for a bit to see if any better deals come up. 2-4-1 is still pretty decent though so thanks for the heads up 😎
  12. That code isn't working when I try it? Are there individual ones for each customer?
  13. I would say there's the Avalanches DJ set but watched a bit of their Glastonbury performance on Iplayer and it's absolutely shocking. Had to turn it off in the end as there were just loads of train wrecks. Also looks like we'll be getting the final PKP names, and maybe the timetable too, later this week.
  14. Few rumours knocking round on Festileaks forum about slow ticket sales for HEAR HEAR but not sure they're based on anything concrete? Going from four to three stages is not a positive sign though... Probably seemed a good (and safe?) idea at the time of planning to try and maximise revenue by using existing infrastructure, alongside availability of artists, to put on extra events but reality is most people now can't afford to attend more than one or two, and in some cases any, festivals over the summer. They also can't just move the HEAR HEAR line up over to PKP as some of the bands aren't available that weekend. Hope it goes ahead but if sales are slow for PKP I doubt they'll want to risk it.
  15. It varies slightly but likely to be 2-4 weeks beforehand. Should at least get the stage splits with the final announcement but they've done things differently this year so might publish set times too?
  16. 2manydjs are playing a b2b2b thing so looks like they've just changed what they're doing? It's 2 weeks after PKP so unless there's a wider issue with the band/live set up then this might not have any bearing.
  17. Really hope it's just first night teething problems after a 3 year break. My Euro festival trip isn't until August but I've been buzzing off how excited everyone on here has been the last few days as they made their way over. Got good friends there too, who are disappointed with the way things have panned out, but all the criticism can't have gone unnoticed so fingers crossed they get things sorted for tomorrow. Also, can't ever remember so many people posting during a festival, so that's not a good sign either.
  18. Great call, she's an absolutely amazing DJ who never disappoints. Just spotted this tucked away in the info the BBC have published for their coverage of the weekend (check out the second paragraph):
  19. I suspect it's going to be a Chase and Status DJ set, rather than a full live show.
  20. That's obviously also when it goes live on Radio 1 for the first time. It's a phrase he uses pretty much every week for his show so may not necessarily mean it's when the music starts in the venue.
  21. Been waiting to see who else gets named for this day as it's the one I'm thinking of going to. My last train home leaves Liverpool St at 11:30pm so does anyone know what time the headliners usually finish? Think I can get across from Victoria Park in about 30 mins or so using buses. Hoping there's some cheap tickets floating about nearer the time too...
  22. Looks like Young Thug has been living up to his name and now probably won't be gracing us with his presence this summer: Link
  23. I'm not a massive fan of that kind of stuff but I'll give them a listen and will see how the timetable works out - thanks for the tip. That clashfinder is a really good starting point but agreed, there's a few acts that have definitely been placed on the wrong stage. Think Fred Again.. will be in the Dance Hall and the same goes for Four Tet.
  24. So what discoveries have we made so far from the line up? I haven't spent much time yet trawling through the line up but there's already plenty I know of to keep me busy on Friday and Saturday. Sunday is my quietest day but that's currently the one with the least names so I'm hopeful more decent bands/DJs will be added. Bit concerned that late night Friday will be clash central as Soulwax, Camelphat, Slipknott, Charlotte Adigery and Bolis Pupul, Pendulum, Rufus Du Sol and possibly HAAI and Goose may all play between about 11pm - 2am. Saturday looks pretty much done but not sure where some of them will fit in? The early clashfinder has The Opposites closing the Marquee but I wonder if they'll do the Dance Hall and it will be Jungle into Underworld in the Marquee? Definitely recommend Marc Rebillet for what will likely be the craziest hour of the weekend as he'll pretty much improvise his whole set! Looking forward to Elkka, Mall Grab, Overmono, Pinkpantheress and SPFDJ but I'm currently listening to last nights Essential Mix from Job Jobse and it is amazing! Saw the start of his set in the Booth in 2019 but didn't hang around for too long - won't make that mistake this time! Eris Drew, Anna, Fred Again.., Nova Twins, Gabriels and O'Flynn are all on my list for Sunday but I'm open to any recommendations that anyone may have?
  25. And in an ideal world that band is The Prodigy.
