  1. Can you give more details on these? I thought there was hosts file ip address stuff in 2013, I can't see how a typo would help?
  2. Last year was round robin DNS so this wouldn't have worked.

  4. The worst thing about this whole debacle is the huge amounts of mainstream and social media coverage just two weeks before the sale and with registrations open! I suspect this will be one of the busiest years yet.
  5. Cool. You're still completely wrong.
  6. There's zero reason to only have one reg and a several good reasons to have more than one. Many many many people have more than one intentionally or not.
  7. Tell me you've never done a glasto sale without telling me you've never done a glasto sale...
  8. Lol amazing they managed to get the email out just now. Useful 🙄
  9. Did you actually try clicking on the link?
  10. They claim they have been aware of it since Monday. Which to cancel now with 4 hours notice is just an utter farce.
  11. Even worse than not sending out an email at any point in time today (even though they managed to send out half a dozen about the registration issue over the previous months), the seetickets registration checker is currently not working.
  12. "it has come to light that some individuals hoping to buy tickets for 2024 have discovered after Monday’s registration deadline that they are no longer registered, despite believing they were." Has there been a singled confirmed example of this? I haven't heard of it for anyone. Everyone who doubled checked and even created new registration if necessary still has their registrations. Such an odd excuse to roll out especially given it it were true they will have known for ages.
  13. It's always been time to ditch them. There's not been a single sale they've been involved in that they haven't cocked something up.
  14. Loads of people had small 1m flags/windsocks on Saturday.
  15. Tequila bars would have been great if they had mentioned they ran out of frozen margaritas before making you queue for 15 minutes.
  16. One of the worst organised Field Days in years, reminded me of some of the early ones. Seemed oversold and the food options were dire. However the worst thing was the atrocious sound on the East Stage. And a crowd full of talkers but I barely blame them when the music is imposible to hear anyway even near the front. I've always had a great experience ever time I've seen Jon Hopkins but it was utterly pointless this time. Bonobo was marginally better but still very quiet even 15 m from the barrier which is simply not acceptable. Thank god Aphex Twin was so good. An incredible set and incredible show and plentiful delay arrays meant the sound was okay for most of the crowd. Single handedly saved the day.
  17. This guy does 365 a year: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2023/jul/31/a-new-start-after-60-at-74-i-go-to-a-gig-every-night-and-once-went-to-725-in-a-row

Wicks has perhaps the most pedestrian taste in music I've ever heard of.

He's said multiple times he already paid for a punter ticket. But yes, probably got a good rider after he got booked as well.

Joe wicks is a first timer.
  21. Does anyone know where the Krishna tent is this year? Moved a few times in the last few years and was near BBC Introducing last I checked but couldn't see it just now.
  22. You couldn't be more wrong. Try actually reading the terms of the insurance. And then running some basic slterbetivr calculations including self insurance. Buying ticket insurance is for mugs and has one of the highest margins in the industry.
  23. The issues were the size of the space (there was loads of room inside), it's the chokepoints.
