This is a long shot, but I'm reacting to the clue that the rumoured act would piss off some folks - what about Weird Al Yankovic? Was/Is he as popular in the UK as the States? I suspect not, but worth asking.  I saw him play a festival in NYC once and he commanded the biggest crowd of the weekend.  All those parodies of hits were massive sing alongs.  And he wore all the costumes, including the Michael Jackson "Fat" suit.

Maybe in the cabaret tent.

I have info on who's lined up for the slot that I can't divulge. Which I get is super annoying.

They haven't been mentioned on here thus far and would have huge crowd appeal whilst pissing off swathes of the festival old guard.

Just a tiny clue? I'm putting all my eggs in this basket.

Damn missed this new revelation yesterday. And not been mentioned at all in the thread thus far? Very interesting…

I would’ve liked Roxy but it always felt a bit of a strange one for them and they would undoubtedly have pulled one of the smallest legend slot crowds in ages by a big margin. Hopefully they’re still there though - third down the Pyramid could still be a goer, perhaps on the GnR day as a bit of a dad rock run like they did with Metallica.

They said it’s not been mentioned before their post.  Even if it’s tall tales, I love speculation

That's funny. We'll throw every name in the ring at some point.

DISCLAIMER - I haven'r read this entire thread 🙈

Not sure why I was so categoric they hadn't been mentioned before. So sorry.

And please don't take that as they have been listed. But what I've heard isn't Roxy Music. Or Take That.

Only been back 5 minutes and I've caused havoc!

I can see them sitting around a table at the farm with this list.. "OK, we've been at it 7 hours.. and we are down to Alice Cooper, Ice Cube and Tommy Steele.. Let's have a final vote."

Your contribution was EXACTLY the sort of thing we crave. A very welcome return.

So they're on that list then? 🤔 😁

Not saying they are. Not saying they're not 😜

First time I've managed  tickets since 2017 and I've obviously gotten a little overexcited!
