GATES OPEN - WEDNESDAY MORNING

Totally dry, temps are at 20 even at 9am.

HOW HAS THE PRESSURE DEVELOPED?

The high is strong coming out of the weekend, but then the low fights back a little through to gates open.

Will we see the high pressure counter-attack?

What about the first days of the festival?

WEDNESDAY

It is getting a bit scorchio...

Max temps of 24 and dry.

And the high pressure is holding firm!

THURSDAY

Dry with highs of.... 26!

But uh oh. The low pressure is really starting to make inroads. Could the weekend go to pot here?

SUNDAY

The wettest day of the festival yet. And we're down to 14 degrees.

Low about the low.

SUMMARY

Amazing that all the rain has gone from this weekend in the 18Z, and it would be ROASTING for the first two days of the festival.

But this run again shows the tightrope we are walking with that band of low pressure, really forcing its way down as Glastonbury starts properly.

The festival itself has rain throughout, and with low temperatures too it wouldn't be pleasant and rubbish drying conditions even when it isn't raining. Basically, it starts raining at 9am on Saturday morning and never really stops....

But it's still TOO EARLY. And let's not forget this is clearly a MASSIVE OUTLIER.

Absolute, 100% twist.  See you all first thing in the morning for the 00Z.....
