Well, they won‘t take the stage down for a week and build it again for PJ, will they? Or Elton has his own thing and is more like a one-off.

with all this covid going on,lots of people would prefer an outdoor gig than arena gig .so makes sense really and will sell well

Def 3 weeks/9 shows. No way the build is going up and down it takes 3 weeks anyway. 

Likely that they have absorbed the licences for the other weekend in the park (BBC Proms)

Got to be 1 or 2 big female headliners to Announce. Swift? Dua Lipa? Spice Girls (been rumoured for a while).

Looks like the open air shows next year will go ahead though as tour restarts in early 2022

On one of the Lytham Festival emails - it said The Strokes are "exclusive north of England show" which means I guess that there's a "south of England" show lined up....That could be All Points East, both because Strokes are playing Prima twice and also because of the sound farce of last time (and The Strokes day sold out)
