U.S. Presidential Election

You can only hope that some of the more moderate conservatives who have fallen for these bs conspiracy theories, not the real hardcore nut jobs, see the real danger that they cause and wake up. This is where the QAnon bullshit leads if enough people start to believe it. Let’s hope the more sane people out there recognise that and take stock. It was laughed off when the president told a racist group to “stand by”, but this is where that kind of talk gets you.

Even the odious slug officially known as Ted Cruz has tweeted telling all these cretins to get the hell out of there before they damage the cause

All the shit that Trump has said and done has led to this. It has consequences, and he is responsible and should be put on trial.

I agree, but that would only further entrench the divisions he has created. There is no easy, democratic way back from this. He’d become a martyr to these people.

Maybe this is the moment...at what cost though? Someone already in critical condition ☹️ This was always coming.

I can’t actually see what you’re referring to but I did see this which is pretty accurate to US (and British?) media. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah I can’t see anything other than quite witty replies taking the piss out of LK

    • Its probably the culmination of issues that have been simmering under the surface for a while. Spain ran a regularisation program recently that allows undocumented individuals to obtain temporary legal status and then a route to EU citizenship. 1.2 million applied. At the same time Montenegro is having to close its citizenship via investment program as part of EU ascension talks.    Countries are obviously asking, why are we having to reject investors whilst others can wave anyone in?
    • I'm not sure, they aren't giving any headliner in that format 2hours and Foos would have at least 2. I wouldn't say Reading is likely for them next year either. If they are as said going big on a tour with stadiums and festivals then the UK is once place they can definitely do stadiums and that would rule them out. And that's even if they come back for a second UK stint as I fully expect them in Europe from very early. That could be seen as hyperthetical but there are is some places I cannot see them not doing from history.
    • One problem could be that many of the hospitality packages are already sold out. Unless you’ve a media contact, media organisations normally get a hospitality allocation.
