That explanation of the error is so pathetic. They don’t even try and come up with half believable excuses anymore.

I think only people with an insight into how design software works realise how crazy it is, but then most of the country don't have that insight, so this excuse is enough. And of course, they themselves clearly don't understand photoshop either, so I'd doubt they could even explain what went wrong.

They went with technical error... errr yeah sure

If 2 statements were prepared there would be no reason to edit either, you would just use the relevant one, you would not have seen the other one, If they had one already prepared and had to edit it surely it would have had Biden as the winner as that was what all the polls were saying. By releasing this they are basically saying "we thought trump was going to win, we believe he is the real winner."

Exactly!! It's not like Boris isn't used to writing 2 versions of things

Yeah Biden has played an absolute blinder here. Not mentioning Trump and going about the transition is the only way to go. There’s only one man leading that country now.

Prediction: those “marches” are going to be a total wet fart.

I love that Biden is just going about business as usual as President Elect and completely ignoring Trump. I’m not sure if he’s even mentioned Trump since winning.

It’s the best way of dealing with any troll. Just ignore them and carry on as if they don’t exist.

One thing I don’t understand is them going on about the tv networks calling the election. This is what happens every single election and it’s never been an issue until now. Not once in any US election have they waited until all states have verified the results and it’s gone to the electors, so why is it some huge issue now? (I know it’s because Trump has lost but still).

It would make total sense for Republicans to be mad at Biden being called before the official count was finished... if that wasn’t how it was done every single year. Trump was perfectly happy to give a speech before he was officially called in ‘16 and it basically boils down to ‘but we didn’t win this time!’.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this whole rigmarole is largely a move to keep the base fired up until the Georgia runoffs happen and then it’s dropped pretty swiftly afterwards (probably by everybody expect Trump). I mean, they can’t possibly think this is gonna go anywhere, right?

    • I got in for £11.25 in the end, which was absolutely ridiculously good value, and made the queues and overselling of the venue much more tolerable! Sniping in on other people’s unwanted tickets on the day of an event might become my new hobby I think 🥳
    • Ann and Nancy Wilson are planning a final world tour for HEART starting next year. They were never at Glastonbury. They should do it.
    • sub yes I could see but I don't think they get 1hr 15, a headliner starting at 18:15 though is unlikely. Even the recent co-headlines that have had like 1hr 15 then a 1hr 30 after were on 8pm or just before, you are trailing behind more than 1.5 hours then. In that scenario some 3rd down bands are only starting at 18:15 and some haven't lol. I agree they won't not book them due to this but it won't be 6 headliners. It would be 5 headliners and you wouldn't want to see 5 headliners booked but Biffy were to not be thouhgt of as an option for one. Wolf Alice on the other hand could sub no bother and you'd think nothing of it. I'm not so sure Biffy would get headline though after the festival choice in Kendal this year.
    • Definitely. UKIP also used Merkel welcoming 1 million Afgans to Europe in 2015 during the brexit vote.   Politicians in other countries within the EU know the are going to lose voters to parties to the right of them over stuff like this and they've no control over it.
