Liverpool have always (recent years) played that high line.

All credit to Villa for the balls over the top as well as them chasing down Liverpool all over the pitch, but just about every Liverpool player was slow and shit yesterday. It happens.

Just to be clear, even if Liverpool had been at their best I reckon Villa would have given them a hard game.

Feel a bit sorry for Gomez getting the blame, cos none of it got better once he was off the pitch.
