I could see it working to be honest. Not sure about the tinned tomatoes but I am vegetarian and a tomato based sauce does work with some veggie alternatives to roasts as well. Maybe your wife is just ahead of the curve and it will be the luxury dream food that nobody can get post-brexit.

Everything's going to be a luxury dream food that nobody can get post Brexit

Part of me wants to message another kiwi and find out if this is normal behaviour in New Zealand. But another par of me suspects that the frisson is the only thing keeping our marriage together (that and the fact that neither of us is allowed to leave the house).

😄

Maybe my wacky ways with Christmas dinner are causing issues that my husband is only telling people on an internet forum as well. He hates turkey and wouldn't say what he did want so I ended up buying loads. He now has beef wellington, slow cooked beef shin, whole lamb shoulder and gammon to choose from (the gammon is traditional gammon from a pig and not a shrivelled up tory voting brexiter)

I've just joined, is he actually announcing any policy, or just giving an update?

Just an update on the lorry situation.

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
