is it like lockdown syndrome and people have become bored with panic buying .... Its so last year ... 🙂

I'm just girding my loins for that myself.  Got to drop my prescription in and have handwritten a note on it asking for double this time as that would mean I wouldn't need to restock til March.  Couple of propranolol and I'll be fit to face the world again.  Today is my riskiest day of the whole pandemic, have to go to supermarket, doctors, workplace and socially distanced xmas visit from the street to see my kids and granddaughter.  About 10-12 miles of walking outside, mostly away from people and having to enter 3 public premises.  I've been shielding since 2nd week in March, my remaining lung is already fucked so I really can't afford to take any unnecessary risk.

I take it you fit clinically extremely vulnerable then ... so hopefully a jab very soon ..... it was hard for me getting back out there .... and quite a jump from shielding .... just do what you can to stay away from people and you should be fine ... ive been back at work for 6 months ... so far so good ...touch wood

yep its just the Turkeys shouldn't be feeding quite so many this year ... with not so many big gatherings .... so the Turkey might be used for quite a few other things after the normal curry etc ... or binned !!!

Salmon is a very popular dish for xmas .... Christmas week I used to fillet over 500 salmon back in the day .....

Gammon’s always been a Boxing Day meal for my family. Salmon though, holy shit. Please never agree to go to your in-laws for Christmas.

A Sainsbury's spokesman said all of its Christmas lunch products were "already in the country" and it was looking at alternative ways of sourcing products from Europe.
