Yeah I agree, it’s all relevant stuff surely, like me and you have clearly different views but the general debate on this thread has been fairly respectful, those posting are happy to engage with it, and if you don’t want to engage with it you don’t have to reas this thread (we don’t all read every single topic on here do we?! Can pick and choose what interests us). It’s not a pure politics theme - the theme has generally been about how the Glastonbury crowd will react to the whole thing, on all sides. Fairly relevant discussion on a glasto forum, no need to want to shut it down because some bits might be uncomfortable. There’s plenty more irrelevant stuff to glasto discussed around here! Anyway I won’t drag it out, I’ve said everything I probably want to and been interesting to hear others thoughts. we’re all looking forward to the best weekend of the year, hope everyone has a wonderful time and feels the love on the farm, peace and love to all ✌️ -

I saw Fabiana Palladino yesterday at Village Underground. On first listen I really liked her album, and there was a bit of buzz about it so I booked tickets. But by the time the concert came around I'd tired of it, and in concert the monotony of her songs, offering little variation in mood or tempo, made for an uninspiring experience. She's a relaxed and engaging presence when interacting with the audience between songs, and her voice is OK, but those songs just aren't good enough. There are a couple that really stand out, and you can imagine them slipping pretty seamlessly into Janet Jackson's Control, an album she has clearly listened to more than a few times. But most of them I could more reasonably see in a bonus second disc of outtakes and rejects from Five Star's Silk & Steel. The show may have improved towards the end, to be fair - it had been a long day, and I wasn't there to see it.

If that's the Arcadia dragonfly helicopter it's looking fairly small/underwhelming so far... hoping for a huge amount of fire and a decent sound volume/setup! Or is that just a car... time will tell
