Really like the concept, but it doesn't quite work for me entirely. Brilliant at points, but because all of the original tunes are stone cold bangers you can't really improve on them IMO.

Fair play though, some amazing remixers and guests on it as a package. Moodymann!

Club Future Nostalgia is huge, isn't it?! We've been robbed of an absolute carnival on the Saturday night at the OS. Can you imagine the celebration it would have been? Her stock has surely risen even higher since the lineup dropped... Hopefully when the festival does make it's return, we'll get this set because sheeeeesh, it would be massive.

The mix is very very good in an unexpected way. Basically a love letter to 2ManyDJs

Nice piece man.

I reckon she's one of our 2021 headliners, personally...

Extended versions of tracks coming on 11th September.

Heard it from a DJ who’s on the album. You can probably guess which.

full version. DJ Song of the summer which never was!

Can imagine this being rinsed by Ben UFO and Four Tet.

While its definitely looks likely, I don't think there's been any actual confirmation.

She’s said it herself she’s booked. I’ve posted it multiple time’s but people keep ignoring lol

Maybe I missed it.....but that Instagram post to Charlie XCX isn't confirmation that she's booked.

And her confirming on a livestream that she is looking forward to performing Future Nostalgia on the farm next year. The remix album being made with the downlow in mind.

Levitate was due to be released this summer, so she was talking about looking forward to performing it this year. Then she says 'hopefully we'll be back'

In all fairness I consider this pretty useless to debate.

She was on the lineup for 2020 and she’s massive at the moment. If she’s dropping multiple hints that she will be at the festival next year, she probably is unless something serious changes. To me the “hopefully next year” is more related to the pandemic situation than waiting for a call asking to play.

We’ve considered other artists ‘nailed on’ for much less.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
