Not that it necessarily even makes a jot of difference but what broadband speeds are we all going in to battle with?

I'm doing it at work and having just done a test found it's 75mb

broadband speeds  what's that ?! this is my test I just did

I don't think that's the case? I think it's designed for people who just can't try, so the people they're paying have the same chance as you or I

I may of misinterpreted it, I'm thinking of people having an army of 10 people making a quick 50 quid.

I remember you'd get knocked off the internet every time someone tried phoning your house phone (this was before the started sending out filters with modems), used to drive me berserk! Imagine if that happened on the payment screen!

So it is a thing then, totally unfair, let’s hope the festival contact the site and ask them to remove the service.

In fairness, the people offering the service have no more chance of getting a ticket than we do ourselves.

Well Mrs Jass will not be joining us.... Baby Jass II will be joining us in April.

I'll be trying next week as hard as ever, but if I don't make it I probably won't bother with the resale.

Congratulations dude :)

Both today and on Sunday I will be away from home, so can use only 1 laptop + my phone. Does this mean that my chances are very close to 0? I'm just a newbie, so I still hope that I will get a ticket (I even don't know what should I do - refresh constantly, wait... no idea). Good luck :)

I was checking the Glastonbury.seetickets.com page on my work laptop. The idea was to pop into the office on Sunday to make use of the slick Internet. The page has no images which might be an issue. Anybody know what the geeks have done and if there's a workaround.

Agreed but it is pretty awful that someone can pay for extra chances to get tickets.

While I do agree, more fool on the people who are stupid enough to pay. Most of us just grab as many mates as possible to do the same :D

    • Agree. Also there was a lot more crossing over between stages. I know they need to put the cure, the xx and Gorillaz on the main stages but if they could have put your Blood Orange, Big Thief, Baxter Dury on Cupra and Occident with Jade and Pinkpantheress on the main stages, it would have been a massive improvement.
    • 100% THIS! I haven't quite been able to put my finger on it, but I think you've just nailed why I didn't enjoy this year as much as usual. In last years edition, the likes of Slowdive or Big Thief would have had evening slots at Cupra or Occident, instead of being shoved on to the main stages during the day. Apart from the very biggest acts (ie The Cure, the pop headliners), most performances at Mordor just lack that special "wow, I'm so lucky to be here" feeling that I remember from the Jesus Lizard and Anhoni sets that you've mentioned.  Sidenote: I wonder if there's a decent chunk of ticket holders that gravitate towards Mordor simply because it's the biggest stage, without really caring who's playing at that time, thus the increased (and incredibly noticeable) yapping.
    • Some horrible talkers around me as well for that one. Plus the mobile beer taps pressing through almost all the way to the front, which really should be illegal.
    • 1. Kevin Morby - Little Wide Open  2. feeble little horse - bitknot 3. Genesis Owusu - Redstar Wu and the Worldwide Scourge    Decent month though - Kurt Vile and Ed O'Brien would have been top 3 most months
