V4 of the map is now up, (though it's still marked v3), many new water points, iicon has moved as has crows nest, less camping space in hawkwell. No average groove & gully-blues now marked.

Good find. There is another EE powerbar shops near the beat hotel  and glade (may have been on previously)

Just noticed there are toilets actually in the park now, that's new or will this just be disabled toilets?

Previously only disabled by the sound desk which are not normally on the map.

So yea, they might be new ones.

Was there a thing on the map in the Common called Cetone or something like that yesterday? That now looks like it's called Samula? Is that new?

Yes, good spot. That venue has changed - I think it’s the one under the waterfall.

I have something finishing at The Truth Stage 6.30 and starting 6.30 at the acoustic. Am I right in thinking thats a fair old treck and not worth it for an hour set ?

I would choose between the sets. Do you really want to see both of them? Sounds much too stressful to me, it's a fair old hike all right.

@Zoo Music Girl this is a new area in The Common that is replacing The Cave. Details announced recently say the design is based on Mexican "cenotes" which would explain the previously labelling. I'm very excited about the lineup on this stage so have been following news closely ?

Here’s a new map for the most dedicated of Glasto map fans.

It formed part of my online site H&S training that is designed to speed up site entry by reducing the need for someone to talk for 3 minutes to a bunch of drivers on their initial entry.

It shows the gas line, permit to work areas and the pylon route.

The Sunday Hospitality takeover looks decent. Usually try and drop in on the Thursday night too.

    • No worries, it's a perfectly fair question to ask. I would expect people to be talking at the back & near the bars & that is where I would want them to be talking. If your group are enjoying yourselves & the music & briefly chatting to say how much you are loving a certain song etc, you would be an ideal group to stand behind.   My issue is with people having full blown conversations (usually unrelated what is on the stage) whilst being surrounded by people who are trying to listen to the music. This was happening in the middle and towards the front of all stages, & so you have limited options to move around & you may have spent 20 minutes waiting for the band trying to get the closest position that you can. If there's a group of 8 people, there may be 2 or 3 that like the band & the rest will start talking if the music isn't their thing. This may be the norm now for festivals, and if it is, that's ok & I will focus on a band's own gigs & UK based new music festivals.    I'm also not including consequences of my own decision making. I saw Geese on Wednesday so went to Occident after Men I Trust finished so it was understandable there would be chatting that far back. Similarly, getting to The XX after Olivia Rodrigo along with most of the site, I knew my chance of a good spot & a chat-free zone had gone so that was completely reasonable.   PS. I went to Bilbao BBK in 2023 & 2025 & enjoyed it. For Pulp & Kylie in 2025, I got a position early & was surrounded by a respectful & fun crowd for both. The UK non-headlining bands tend to go on the undercover 3rd stage, & most people like to congregate outside so you can usually get close to the front of that stage.
    • Interview on 6 music earlier, was going to get the album to have a listen, but comes out the day they play the festival
    • Additional dates added already
    • I feel like it's not COMPLETELY beyond the realm of possibility that they could headline but I just don't see it.    They're not doing anything other than headlining. So nah, I don't see it.
    • Consider that the sound quality can be better near the front bars right behind the soundbooth rather than closer to the stage, like with mbv. And of course, the front sections are full of talkers too.   The most courteous move would be to have conversations in the very back of the field.
