I mean it was alright, but I thought the self titled album was better. Might have to check it out again. Also I'd recommend you check out the albums by Gulch (best Hardcore album of the year imo), Drain (especially if you love Turnstile) and Year of the Knife (had no right being as good as it was, it was just so violent). Yep. I have been playing the FYS album since it came out. It’s just really clicked with me. We were really lucky in South Yorkshire that for the first three months of lockdown, we were blessed with really pleasant weather. The FYS album complimented it really well. Gulch and YOTK are both in my top 20 😎 The black metal riffing on the second track on the Gulch album that comes out of nowhere had my jaw on the floor. It’s a brilliant record. The fucking riffs on the YOTK album are wild, too. I would highly recommend Sharptooth if you haven’t checked the album out already, it’s brilliant and definitely worth listening to if you like the Gulch and YOTK albums. I’ve also got Backxwash in my top 20. Nice inclusion of Phoebe in your list too, another great album. The Mark Lanegan album from earlier this year would definitely be worth your time too, I think. Yeah I've really liked what they've released so far. I think Isaac did most of the songwriting for slaves (correct me if I'm wrong) so it's great to see Laurie has a talent for it as well. Would love to see them live next year, Festival Republic seems like a decent shout. I'm also hoping there's an album announcement soon as well.

Just checked Wikipedia, I was wrong they both contribute to writing. I'll rephrase that then - as much as I like Slaves, it's great to see Laurie do something completely different to it and pull it off well. More suited to the likes of Glastonbury, Latitude, Green Man etc. Think she’d be wasted at Reading and Leeds these days.
