So the best atmosphere is at the front, like every other stage. Almost all the people who complained about radiohead in '17 were miles back as well.

I enjoyed it a lot more once I’d retreated to west holts

Initial reaction was that the new album is a bit hit/miss - but, on perusing setlists, pleased to see that the 'hit' tunes also happen to be the exact ones they are including in their live sets: In Degrees, On the Luna, White Onions, plus Exits. Bodes well.

The biggest "hit" they've had off this album was definitely Exits, got far more airplay than the others across radio stations.  I reckon In Degrees has done ok but hasn't been the smash everyone reckoned it would be.

Be me, buy tickets back in Feb for me an my buds for the Ally Pally gig tonight. Book today off work, make plans with the lads who have all done the same.. Buzzing.

Fish the tickets out from my letter drawer.. Realise you actually booked Saturday tickets and you've wasted your annual leave and all of your friends.

Beers on me tomorrow I guess.

I’ve done that before but the other way around (in queue to see band on Weds, gives friends their tickets and realises they were for the night before). ?

Anyone heading there tonight?

Didn't plan to but headed there up on the spur (put not intended) of the moment after some drinkies. Got a bit bored of them on the last album run but they were really, really good last night - absolutely loved it. Not sure it would translate so well in daylight in the park (if that's def happening), but they're on top form live and the setlist was awesome too.

Granted they have an hour slot to fill but are we assuming the setlist for this Park show will purely be the new album in full like the Kingston shows which immediately precede it? Obviously the current tour has included older stuff.

ENSMBL is 39 minutes long but once you factor in breaks between songs, the odd extension and the fact they won’t play the full hour that probably ends up filling the whole slot quite nicely.

Not a complaint, I think the new record bangs. Interested to hear what others think.

It was VERY sweaty in there last night.

Heard lots of people saying they had "lost their phone" at points. Sadly, knowing the well-earned reputation of Ally Pally at such gigs, I'm pretty confident those phones are down someone's trouser leg.

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
    • Think this will be it...I think they are a level above trees.
