Loving On The Luna - has a TLF vibe. I like Exits too so I'm pumped for this new album.

Gonna try for the Earth gig and if I don't get tickets, I'll see if Ally Pally is still on sale. I have been pinning my hopes on them playing Glastonbury again but not sure I wanna take that risk anymore.

Gorilla's website.

That's obviously sans booking fee

How obvious! Thanks bud.

Just noticed that on the gigs and tours website it says that general sale will be on the 28th February - the day after the presale.

Surely all of the tickets are going to be snapped up in the presale.... aren't they?

There's only a certain amount put aside for presale.

There’ll only be about 10 tickets in the presale. Given that it’s an open, no purchase necessary presale you may have more chance of getting one in the main sale.

I'm a bit baffled as to what you mean by meh for foals? Like the album should be 10 songs like One step Two step? or Inhaler? or something??

I'm loving On the Luna it is classic Foals to be honest.

I mean exactly what I say. They don't stand out when compared to their back catalogue. The new single does have a lot more going for it that Exits.

We're going on the Saturday before,  just in case they don't play Glasto, but really think they would be brilliant headlining one of the stages,  and would prefer them to the Killers on the Pyramid if Emily would give them the gig.

I reckon they have a dozen really good songs and a couple of  brilliant ones.

If there are a few to add to that off the double album, they could easily hold down the Saturday night on the Pyramid. Would be a huge party atmosphere.

When i saw how their tour dates worked out, i was pretty confident they were going to play. however, im getting slowly more doubtful about it. I could potentially see a secret set in the John Peel Stage, which would be class.

i would 100% give them a chance to headline, like you said they have enough songs to be a success. definitely create a massive atmosphere!

    • My party again had an outstanding 4 days in Barca. We made the right call to leave the festival site early at about 10.30 on Thursday to get ourselves some excellent steaks in the city. I am with everyone that the organization should have been clearer about what is going on and also if you would like to get rid of some attendees open more exits, they sent us from gate to gate until we finally were able to get out. Biggest 'disappointment' was the beer price, a YoY increase from 5 to 6 is absolutely nuts!!! (i am living in Switzerland so me making this comment says something 🙂)   Top 10:   1. Men I Trust 2. Role Model (could have been first as well, what a great artist and great songs) 3. The XX 4. The cure (the last 90 minutes) 5. Gorillaz 6. MBV 7. Ninajirachi (another big miss of the organization, clearly on the wrong podium and wonder if Olivia's surprise set had something to do with that and they had to reschuffle late the Occident, Cupra and Port schedules) 8. NewDad 9. Big Thief 10. Annastashia      We did 3 years Barca now and for next year looking at the Porto or Bilbao festivals as an option.
    • Personally if it was me now, I would be grabbing a green camping ticket with the knowledge closer when I've refreshed that I can still choose general if I want to....you can't do the opposite!    I would say if you are happy to watch your headliners and big bands further back to be able to see who you actually plan to later then yes it is fine. Its a much difference experience to any other festival especially food wise and camping surrounds.    Once you're in the arena as well you're not going back unless you've got a gap. If I go again I'll be going with the option of not trying to push the front and enjoying further back as you actually put too much pressure on it than the time take away can forget to enjoy other acts.
    • No complaints about the sound. We were like 2nd set of steps facing stage right in like the middle row.
    • On the whole then, yay or nay...I've had a look on festivals united and there's people who seem converted by Rock Im Park, I can imagine it might be different if it was a washout as RaR is tarmac.   The hotel side would be more to convince the non campers if it's an option. On my first visit to rock am ring we were shuttled into the area where you could stick the car next to the tent which was fantastic as it meant zero lugging of camping gear.
