Well we had Depp last year, this year Cage?

Very weird Glasto link....

https://www.theguardian.com/film/2018/oct/01/nicolas-cage-if-i-dont-have-a-job-to-do-it-can-be-very-self-destructive

Quote

Cage famously blew the fortune he made in 90s blockbusters The Rock, Face/Off and Con Air on, among other things, some fabulously eccentric real estate purchases around the world, including a castle in Somerset. The castle has since been sold but he still has a cottage near Glastonbury, having been urged to check out the town by someone he describes as “my philosophy teacher”.

“She thought there was something very ARTHURIAN about me – why, I don’t know – and I went and I fell in love with the place. Glastonbury town is like walking into a pack of TAROT cards: on the one side you have very ancient Christianity, on the other side you have pagan book stores, and someone’s barking about God in the middle of the street. It’s like an Ingmar BERGMAN movie, and I love it,” he says.

He has two chunky rings on his fingers: a block of Tanzanite from Somerset and a tiger from Vegas, “So I always have Glastonbury and Las Vegas with me,” he says, smiling fondly at this hand.

Cooper's at it every year anyway, though he seems content to go HAM stage front and down the naughty corner.

I got chatting to a lady who does the shuttle service from Winding Lake to the helipad. Apparently Bradley Cooper was a lovely, lovely man. The Libertines were w*nkers.

I can vouch for this story as Stu sorted a heli of a journey in 2016. She said that Pete Doherty said not to speak to him.

I still haven't forgiven that prick for subjecting me to fucking repeats of hard fi cash machine for over an hour on the pa then eventually twat about on stage like a twat. What a shit night. Amy was still with us.

Bradley Cooper & Lady GaGa would be the most apt to open up Cineramageddon, at least for the A Star Is Born Glastonbury footage.

Has anyone seen this yet? I'd watch it just to see the footage of Glastonbury to be honest but wonder if it's actually any good?

Got mad reviews and a ridiculous iMDB rating, plus it’s getting the full awards push. Reckon it’s gonna be overhyped and nowt new.
