Listen to little simz new album and say grime isnt exciting

Would you class Grey Area as grime? I'd say it's more hip hop, but by a UK artist. Sort of like Loyle Carner. It's a great album though.

Btw, I like grime so I'm not tryna argue lol

We have been saying it will be BMTH since 2018.

We really thought it would be Foos, BMTH + Florence, Kendrick

Last year we thought it would be BMTH co with 21P after they did a 2018 secret set

There has been a notable lack of UK shows on the amo tour, no full tour since Nov 2018 and only 1 headline show at APE. They've also confirmed there's new music out this year, probably in the form of EPs.

Reading have built them up the lineup to headline at some point, it really makes sense for them to do it now - especially given the lack of apparent headliners available in August.

BMTH will definitely co-headline at least.

Id personally say its grime, it definately experiments but i think thats what makes grime exciting, although i can see why other people wouldnt say it is

How much crossover has there been in the past? I mean both of @Dan Wilcox headliners are there (obviously not rage). Stormzy will have a festival headliner show ready for R&L.

At a glance, I can see at least 10 names popping up on both bills last year. They've only shared one headliner in recent years tho - Kendrick.

Swap catfish with Lewis and I reckon that is pretty likely. Not sure about architects headlining Radio 1 though.

    • Don Broco secret set.
    • Regarding PinkPantheress: I watched the ending of The Cure from the back and then bolted straight to Cupra to save spots on the steps for my entire festival crew. Thus, we all had a good experience there. Sucks that not everybody got to properly see it, but it felt like something out of Glastonbury where those who showed up long in advance got to see a big artist on a smaller stage in good conditions.
