He's not sold out Hampden off the back of supporting the Courteeners 😆 Watch his TRNSMT 2018 set and that was before anyone in England had even heard of him, probably what brought him to Liam Fray's attention too as they were on after to a smaller crowd.

100% pass on him! So not my cup of tea!

This was at trnsmt in Glasgow, where's he's absolutely massive but he's not that big elsewhere

So you are saying their history is death core... yeah just like I said.

Their history is deathcore but it has no relevance to the type of fans that may go see them in concert. I hate deathcore and their first 2 albums but it doesn't stop me going to see them nor does it stop thousands of others. Hell, they're even one of my favourite bands. They're huge in the contemporary rock scene and they'd pull a crowd.

The 'leaker' in the Sziget thread has actually given some proper information now instead of a few obscure emojis that could mean anything, if what he says is true (unless he also goes about his leaks like Dan) then Eminem is set for Sziget so will most likely be coming over to R&L too, so i'm going to assume for the time being Stormzy / LG / RATM is a wind up and go for Eminem / LG / Biffy-BMTH instead

I know a good few people who have bought tickets for other festivals and now not bothering with R&l do you think the sales will take a hit with most festivals having already announced lineups even if the lineup is amazing people might not be able to afford multiple festivals. someone must have some information eventhough previous year the lineup was announced earlier I seem to remember there being some pretty strong rumours this year there's nothing

It's later than usual but that doesn't mean its late, they've announced in mid February before and its still sold out with a weak lineup (2018) other larger festivals have just announced their lineups too such as Boardmasters who will of lost a lot of punters after last years cancellation, i'm sure R&L will be fine, yes they'll of lost some people to other festivals but there will always be others who can afford tickets

    • Orbital opening the Other stage is a bold choice!
    • Great start for them
    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
