Exactly. This does my head in every year.

Nothing wrong with the predictions old son but it's no good predicting bands that have not confirmed yet..

The Clashfinder is one of the most important tools I have at Glastonbury and I tip my hat to yous that do it but I feel we need more confirmed bands

You might as well call it the Stage of hope's and dreams thread . in which case I'll have Fleetwood mac Fri

Pearl jam sat

Levellers sun.... Cos they would be a great finish imo...

With a bit of NMA in the JP stage in the afternoon.. MODEST MOUSE somewhere.. CHILI PEPPERS for the wife.. Eddie Vedder doing an acoustic bit led zeppelin.. The list goes on..

But having a laugh aside can I say NOW chapeau to the Clashfinder

I don't have strong feelings on it, but inevitably once it's populated with one person's speculation it starts getting passed around by people not on here like it's got some credibility to it.  It just creates a lot of noise and disinformation.  Its only a matter of time before some new member starts a thread bemoaning their lot in terms of clashes without realising it's all just someone's idle fantasy.

It's not like people can't make their own Clashfinder for personal predictions - I notice many on here do - so continually editing the proper clashfinder that some people can't separate from the real one just seems like a deliberate attempt to mislead people.

At the same time though, when it's clear to see the festival have only announced Radiohead and Foo Fighters, you'd have to be pretty dense to think for a second this clashfinder is legit.

Dude, people think Daft Punk and Oasis are headlining from articles in September.

Just wait.  Last year there were several people thrown by it, including some of my friends who go but don't post on here.

Did they not get a program on entry with official times and stages and then have 2 days to look and divulge the info?

Based on that Clashfinder prediction I'd go;

Friday: Liam G > Lemon Twigs > The Coral > ATCQ > Maccabees > The xx > Radiohead

Saturday: The Big Moon > HAIM > King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard > The Avalanches > Solange > Bonobo

Sunday: She Drew The Gun > Spoon > Whitney > Crystal Castles > Father John Misty > Royal Blood > Justice

she drew the gun a great way to start a sunday

    • Geese playing for 1:20 instead of just an hour was a lovely surprise. The energy was great!
    • Oh well that's why then, I assumed it was still the same. Thanks!
    • Think this will be it...I think they are a level above trees.
