ATQ probably a no-go now.

"A Tribe Called Quest are forced to cancel their show at Roskilde 2017. Instead, legendary rapper Ice Cube steps in. He will play Saturday 1 July. We can also announce Digable Planets who will bring jazzy hip-hop to Roskilde.

The reason for the cancellation is that front man Q-Tip recently had a shoulder injury and needs surgery after which his doctor has ordered him to stay home and rest."

Yep as shitty as it is that they've seemingly had to pull out, that clash was upsetting me a lot so as selfish as it may be, it's a huge weight off my shoulders. Just hope they manage to find a decent replacement (but not too decent).

Stage/day splits and set times should come at the same time.

Last couple of years they've released a massive poster with all the main stages on it, and simultaneously put the full lineup with times on the website.

Gotta ask - are you genuinely a big Shaggy fan or are you just seeing it as a bit of a laugh with a couple of great songs thrown in? Shocked at the Shaggy love on here. I mean, I love Shaggy, but as my Sunday headliner?

More the latter.  But I've long since learned that I'll have a better time at the 'bit of a laugh and a few big song' shows than the more chin-strokey stuff.  Also, I think my crowd will be a bit #TeamShag

But that's not to say that Justice wont be a blast - albeit I've seen them before and it wasn't any big song and dance.

I can see a situation in which we're tempted to go to Metronomy after Jain actually, since it'll be much closer, and we'll have Sunday legs.

I'm going off previous years' times as my estimate btw.

Plus if Shaggy isn't cutting it the stroll to see BBKbwill be fairly easy work.

Must admit, Shaggy was pretty damn disappointingly terrible at Boomtown. It was absolutely pissing it down mind.
