This might work:

 

1) Go to Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts. 2) Select "Application Shortcuts" from the left menu. 3) Click "+". 4) Fill out the form like so: Application Google Chrome, Menu Title - Reload This Page, Keyboard Shortcut f5. 5) Click "Add"

 

It looks like that will only work for Chrome as Firefox has it built in already to be F5 and Safari will only be CMD+F5.

This is true! In all seriousness, I think having a year off did me some good in giving me a bit of perspective, realising that there is a life beyond it... it was a painful journey but one I'm kind of glad I did, and I didn't try the resale in the end.

That said I'm super-keen to go back, refreshed, recharged and will appreciate it all the more. And there was no way I was going to go three years in a row without.

Freaking out slightly about Sunday.  Tried last year (for others, didn't go last year) and failed.  Also failed last night trying for one in our group who wanted a coach ticket.  And I'm trying for 11 on Sunday.  My biggest ever number

Silly question but when filling in post codes do leave the space between the first part or the 2nd or take out the space, or does it not make a blind bit of difference? I'm only asking because on my mac it's easily to double click and copy the whole thing without any spaces.

i put the space in mine as it just autofilled.

Thanks guys, I didn't think it would make a difference. I need to double check everything!

 

I know it doesn't make a difference if you are on data or wifi but there does seem to be a lot of people on 4G that have been successful yestedaay. I'm definitely gonna be using my phone that way on Sunday.

Last night I just kept clicking on the refresh icon to the right of the address bar. I had a second page that I just left refresh on it's own and I got through on both pages. I had cleared the cache beforehand - not sure if it had an impact or not but it might be worth doing. Good luck!

Just curious, what was the deal on here with people offering bookings to others, i.e. "I've got the booking page up, who wants it?"

Are people giving others their card details?

Had a year off last year - first one I've missed since 97, so I'm champing at the bit. Our group has grown to about 13, and while that makes me more confident that we have strength in numbers for Sunday, it's also going to make it more complicated in the heat of battle on Sunday morning. Who knows what's going to happen. Don't have a clue whether I feel confident, hopeless or somewhere in between. Best of luck everyone!

Did anyone try and fill in the booking form when it was up the other day before the sale?  Gave it a go so our deets would auto fill on Sunday and was told the registrations were not valid for the event (or words to that effect).  Hoping it was just because the sale wasn't on at the time and I've not messed anything up.

That happened to me when I tried it, which is as expected.  Hopefully the details are remembered for the day.  I've forgotten which order I put mine in.

Yeh someone I don't know gave me her bank details, I got through but she had already been successful.  I have deleted all details, was just happy to have tried to help and hoping karma will help me on Sunday!! I'm not sure I'd feel so happy giving my details over. If she hadn't given me her details I would have paid and let her pay me bk.

someone is helping me on sunday. She has sent me a picture of her driving licence so I know who she is.

I really can't wait for Sunday to be out of the way. I had been feeling quite optimistic the last few days but I'm assuming the worst at the moment. Hate this feeling. Adrenaline will kick in Sunday morning but the wait is doing my head in.
