Yeah if they have Paranoid Android, Karma Police, No Surprises, FPT and Street Spirit I don't reckon missing off Creep is that big of a deal.

That setlist looks great tho. I kinda want Myxomatosis in there but having seen it before I could live with out.

Although did anyone see that bizarre outro Thom did to Myxomatosis the the night before last? Scared me to death, not sure I want it anymore.

Yeah I saw that, very odd. I'm hoping it was just him being a bit weird and nothing more.

On the Creep subject, I wouldn't mind at all if it got left out, to be honest I'd be quite happy to see a couple of the big ones people are hoping for left out in that and Fake Plastic Trees.

Ha.  As if Radiohead would ever let us have that good a setlist.

I mean, the ones they played at festivals last year weren't too far off. A couple of substitutes and these would near enough be the ones we've all been posting as dream setlists.

Yeah that's one of the more realistic set lists. Haven't played Just at all this tour surprisingly but would think they'll bring it back into rotation at some point and if they do would be a big festival candidate - they played Talk Show Host and Let Down at a few festivals last year.

Maybe 25 songs they won't do at Glasto, but otherwise that wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Shit was wild. I thought someone had dubbed Al Pacino over a video.

I can't gauge whether people are actually willing them to play Creep out of want or just so that it might win over the casuals or something. I could take or leave Creep really but I'd rather everyone there (except you and I, at least) was unhappy than they play Fake Plastic Trees.

Yeah, I mean I know he sometimes does accents on stage in between songs but this was far more sinister.

I'm the same with Creep, I like it but there's too many others I'd rather hear instead. And yeah, if they're going to play anything off The Bends there's several others I'd rather hear than Fake Plastic Trees, I've never understood the love for it really.

We talking about this?

It's the scary face he pulls at the end that freaks me out!

I could take or leave Creep. I'm not gonna lie and say I wouldn't go ape if they played it, but I also wouldn't miss it at all if they didn't. Must be a near certainty to be played at at least one weekend of Coachella I'd have thought.

After Prince did it there, I feel it must be a cert.

Probably the latter for most on here. The former for me - but FPT is the one, if I could only have one.

Thom is partial to getting a little freaky, this one comes to mind as well (Skip to 3 minuteish for weirdness)

Agreed with most above that I wouldn't mind Creep being left out if they brought all the other hits. I'd been wanting to see it live, and whilst it was fine at Lollapalooza, it did kinda feel a little out of place. I'd rather have Fake Plastic Trees, of the two.

Also I'm happier with the idea of Daydreaming opening the set rather than a half-cooked (ironically) Burn the Witch. Especially if they go into a banger straight after, such as 2+2=5, Airbag or There There. Hopefully by June they'll have binned off Desert bloody Island Disk as the second song (hopefully it doesn't happen this weekend).

That Planet Telex video was great. Would be a good one to get in Manchester, as I don't feel it's too likely for Glasto.

How to Disappear Completely closing the main set would be perfect, too. Amazing songs like this being on the boundary between making the cut and missing out are why I wouldn't be miffed at Creep being cut.

If they waste a slot on The Gloaming they can gladly fuck off, mind.

Slightly o/t (sorry)

After missing out on Glastonbury tickets in the initial sale (boo) we were lucky enough to get tickets to see Radiohead in Manchester in July. Now a friend is asking if they can come too.... I'm guessing that the chances of getting a ticket are absolutely minimal?

Morally am not willing to hand over vast amounts of cash to a scalper or Viagogo et al, does anyone know of anywhere that they are going at face value.

Many thanks!

P.S Fingers crossed for everyone in the resale

Not sure if Neil has set one up for the Manchester gig but I got tickets for the Roundhouse last year through his thingy. @eFestivals

    • People seem to have got obsessed about 'secret sets' at all festivals this year even when there aren't any spaces other than, in EOTR's case, the usual late Folly sets that 90%+ of the time are from artists who are already playing. And if it is someone else, I'm sure it won't be a band who played the festival last year.
    • To be fair @Superscally barely mentions the running thing. Very quiet about it 😘
    • I guess we'll just have to wait until videos of the shows go up, but the fact that the standing is also greyed out still suggests to me that those sections just sold out out before the others and a blue block just be like 3 tickets left, it's still not concrete proof they never went on sale and if they were never on sale why would they not make it even, if 414 wasn't on sale then you'd think 409 wouldn't be either
    • Selfish, but I've done the 2 days I'm there.. i'll try to do the rest through the day but might get beaten to it as it's editable....    https://clashfinder.com/s/ape2026/
    • I don’t think the festival automatically ‘need’ to have a female headliner if you have strong female headliners on the Other Stage (which I reckon will be Rosalia and Phoebe Bridgers), perhaps a female legend (praying for Annie, will take Cher), and a few female/mix gendered subs on the Pyramid (maybe London Grammar, The xx). From what I’ve seen of Sabrina, her team prioritises the pay day and I think she will be doing Wembley over Glasto weekend.   One thing I’ve noticed is a lot of the suggestions would be first time headliners and I can’t work out when the last time was that the festival had three artists top the bill that hadn’t topped it before? It seems to be something they like to do to make sure they have a ‘safe’ headliner that will land well with the masses. Plenty of names in that hat that could step back up next summer and should/could be about: Billie Eilish, Adele, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Radiohead, U2…hell, if Beyoncé is really planning to release a ‘rock n roll’ album to complete her Renaissance trilogy, Glastonbury would be a great place to ‘kick off’ that campaign for her.   And there’s always the Rihanna rumour. Her husband (I think) said this week she’s in the studio.
