  1. Was this at the Park during Wet Leg and Confidence Man? I was in the crowd but my missus said a guy was trying to run into the gate constantly and was getting aggro with passers by. Apparently on a bad acid trip, had to be held down by security for about two hours before being carried away kicking and screaming. Poor bloke looked terrified.
  2. I agree. Seems like it could help the area cater for larger crowds by giving people the option of sitting on the hill without sacrificing too much of the experience.
  3. You've given me the courage to follow through with it. Enjoy your festival!
  4. Have been following this thread for the last 150 pages. Don't own wellies or walking boots, only my old trainers. I don't leave for the festival til Thursday and I'm wondering whether it's worth rolling the dice on not buying wellies and just going trainers only, with the back up of buying wellies on site if shit hits the fan? But also thinking that 1000s of other may do that!
  5. Similar situation for us. Landed in Brum yesterday but got a total of 2 hours broken sleep in the 30 hours we travelled door to door. Now he's sick with something and waking up at 1am due to jet lag.
  6. EE were not on the poster in 2017 but played the secret set at WG. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/everything-everything-kick-glastonbury-festival-13233936
  7. I'm quietly confident they'll get announced. Absolutely loving the new album, it might be their best yet. Really hoping to catch them.
  8. Saw Everything Everything play both times they played in 2015, first on the Other and then at William's Green the next day. They hadn't released their new album yet (due that weekend I think) but played some new stuff and by the 2nd gig, everyone was shouting all the words to 'No Reptiles' back. At the end of the song, the applause went on for over 2 minutes and the band started crying. It was the best live moment I've ever experienced. This video, at around 1:52 you can see the crowd start singing and the singers reaction. Shame it cuts most of the reaction at the end but you get a feel for it.
  9. Let me know your thoughts. I'm also eyeing one up. My missus is worried about the struts popping.

    Arcadia?

I'm wondering what kind of vibe Calvin Harris will have? I'm a big fan of his older stuff, but I just searched a recent gig on Youtube... and I'll be giving anything like this a miss!
  11. Did anyone else see this? The emotion in the tent after they played that new song that built and built was amazing (sorry don't know the name) and I think the lead singer started crying? Stand out moment of the festival for me.
