Ed Sheeran will not be confirmed tomorrow, however he'l be announcing his new album divide as first single will premier

Might get a hint from him but he's usually pretty tight lipped / good at keeping secrets

Will probs end up being... Radiohead, whatever other/park has to offer, foos.. for me this year. Unless Kraftwerk headline WH on Sat or Sun

Why would he need to keep it secret though, what really is to gain from that. Single launch + glasto announcement = mega publicity surely?

he doesnt really need the publicity does he, and the festival probably dont want to announce anything else yet

he can get twice as much publicity by doing it in two hits rather than just the one.

They're certainly using the same strategy as Adele. Song teasers on tv, Radio 1 interview on morning on release.

From past examples acts never seem to announce their albums and Glastonbury at the same time

They are always spaced out, I can't think of an example in recent years where it's been two at one go

He's got two videos on Facebook, one with a different funky beat. Doesn't sound like the same song,  so I think it's gonna be an album

With these things it seems like 'why wouldn't they announce' is rarely the right question to ask

Presumably the radio interview will be the one to listen to.  Don't recall anyone ever announcing a headline slot to Charlie Stayt.

Not sure, it's Scott Mills not Zane Lowe. I mean there's every chance it might come up but I'm wary of getting overexcited after that time when Jo Whiley was definitely going to coax Madonna into announcing her headline slot only for them to talk about plants or some shit.

I thought all three were pretty good to be fair!

No headliner I've seen has been as dull as Springsteen. I was nearly in tears by the end of that, and not in a good way either.

I was really hoping for something better stage wise from Underworld, given that they were at one point pioneers of all dance music visual design cross over stuff.

We rolled through WH during Earth, Wind and Fire and were also unimpressed. :/
