Matt42
Ed Sheeran will not be confirmed tomorrow, however he'l be announcing his new album divide as first single will premier Might get a hint from him but he's usually pretty tight lipped / good at keeping secrets

Tartan_Glasto
They're certainly using the same strategy as Adele. Song teasers on tv, Radio 1 interview on morning on release.

From past examples acts never seem to announce their albums and Glastonbury at the same time They are always spaced out, I can't think of an example in recent years where it's been two at one go

TheRedSeat
With these things it seems like 'why wouldn't they announce' is rarely the right question to ask
CaledonianGonzo
Presumably the radio interview will be the one to listen to. Don't recall anyone ever announcing a headline slot to Charlie Stayt.

CaledonianGonzo
If Ed Sheeran shows up in that suit, scarf and shades combo then he'll have won 2017 in the first week.

I mean there's every chance it might come up but I'm wary of getting overexcited after that time when Jo Whiley was definitely going to coax Madonna into announcing her headline slot only for them to talk about plants or some shit. I was nearly in tears by the end of that, and not in a good way either.

I was really hoping for something better stage wise from Underworld, given that they were at one point pioneers of all dance music visual design cross over stuff. We rolled through WH during Earth, Wind and Fire and were also unimpressed. :/
